I would say go with a mustang instead. There are too many Z's on the road in Edmonton already, I start to get sad when I see them now. I probably won't ever sell, but I will trade you outright for a C7.

Z are common out there? that's good and bad at same time, good for the community bad cause I know everyone likes being a little on the rare side :ugh2:

Yeah, my wife wants a C7. Come spring I'll be looking at what I can get for the Z. GM Canada lists MSRP for the base C7 for ~$52K. Hell, our Z was MSRP $53 new in '10. Anyone care to make a reasonable offer?

I know eh? what's up with that?

sticker price on my 40th was $49,998

I think cars have come down a little over the past couple years, I think it's because they know the competition is so tight between all the brands :ugh2:

I love the rareness factor as well and that's why I owned a LHD supra. Now the RHD cars out number the LHD cars and seeing a supra is no longer a treat.

The 370z is pretty rare I guess. Ironically there is a blue on the street over to me that gets driven in the winter and a blue one in the parkade I park at downtown (two seperate cars, I checked LOL). I just love the lines on the 370Z.

As far as rareness, I already drive on the of the rarest cars to come to NA. 194 built for the US and Canada in 2005; Mercedes CL65.

I still find a supra special

IMO LHD or RHD doesn't matter I would take either or. If I could ever get into tracking heavily I would probably buy an older RHD supra or skyline just because they are easier to obtain

PS nice Benz :tiphat:

when I was doing part-time detailing a customer/buddy got his boss to come to me who had a 2008 CLK 65 AMG :yum:  that thing was insane! He didn't care about it much though he was type of person who buys or leases a new one every 2-3 years and drives them all year. Interior and paint was neglected, upon dropping it off he says " ya it's probably been at least 4 weeks since I sprayed it off last" not even a proper wash he said most are just self spray bay washes :shakes head:

GM will sell more C7's then the 370. Exclusivity is not something you get with vette's. Especially the z06 and zr1 guys. I am sure all the ls3 guys drive up to them the way rhd cars drive to lhd. 90% of the population can't tell the difference between models.

On a side note yes Edmonton has a lot of 370z, but I will usually see a zr1, lambo, or Ferrari before I see a 370.

For a 50k sticker car, the is still fairly rare in a price range where rare does not exist.

Definitely agree. The Ferrari is the new Honda Civic it seems here in Edmonton. They're driving around way before they sweep the roads.

If I want rare, I'll order my steak that way. If I want bang for the buck for a new car, I'll take the C7. Hey, let's start comparing the Z with the C7 instead of a BRZ or Mustang.:stirthepot:

I wasn't comparing anything, my point was you are not going to get rare for 50k

Sure. You need to do your due diligence. My point was there were/are legitimate deals out there.
