Looks like you'll need:

2 wheels,
2 tires
Front Caliper
Lines
Upper and lower arms
Shock and Spring
Crash bar
Bumper
Driver Fender
Driver Head Light
Control Arm
Inner fender
various suspension bits
Paint and labour
Alignment

BTW - The ZR is not winter worthy

And a new front emblem

To Op: All those panels look great. Wherever you went knows what they're doing.

Maybe this is too late but tell them to remove the clip trim from the window and door handle before painting. I have yest seen a clean job with taping the trims along. Looks sad but it will feel good when you get it back!

omg why are you going back to stock? you could have had a highly modded Z with the cost of that repair!

Hey Guys,

Here are some more updated pictures. The car just got painted. Next week they will be pretty much putting it all together and then getting 3M to come and put on that plastic protective stuff on the covers.

@Boomer370 I am getting it done from Shawon Auto Repair in Sauga. I know the guy well now - so if you ever need to go let me know and I can get you better pricing.

@IRE I would have loved to put custom stuff - I actually asked the group based on what the insurance appraiser was giving what custom parts should I get - and everyone pretty much said keep it to stock.

I got 2 new rims - unfortunately they could not give me back the old ones because they said they get a bit of a refund when giving the core back or something.

But they said the old tires they will give it to me .... maybe I will put it up on Kijiji or something or keep them - who knows....

Anyways below are the pics:

The above picture is when they painted it yesterday. And this is how the car looks like today.

Hey man please make sure there were no side wall/ belt damage to the tires from the accident before you sell. A lot of times tire will balance but has internal damage resulting in blow out at high speeds. People who buys these tire likely has high performance cars and you might ruin their day. Whatever you can get from kijjijji or craigslist is not worth the potential of hurting someone IMO. Don't let karma visit you. Just a thought.

SIKHRYDE 02-21-2014 05:12 PM

I agree - I asked the autobody shop just that because I would never want anyone to go through what I did ... or worse...

What I will do if I do sell is to get the tires inspected by the Nissan Dealership.

Maybe I will just hang on to them.

I am framing my banged up license plate as a memory / souvenir!

Ire 02-21-2014 09:05 PM

the reason they tell you not to is because its a hassle for them
1) they have to wait for parts to arrive
2) they're lazy
3) they have to adjust for fitment
4) most people dont know **** about mods. so they get things for cheap, that dont fit or otherwise are a headache for the bodyshop.
