Toronto ones seems like a better show than the Montreal one. I had a free pass to go in but still felt ripped off. So much junk in there hahaha.

Even the Toronto show brings in the trash :ugh2:

I remember I went to an Importfest many years ago and there were posters, decals, bags, etc.. it was awesome!

but then I went again a few years ago and there were few cars/events spaced far apart, everyone trying to sell you junk, and zero freebies :(

I'll probably check it out again this year hehe

umm weird I have gone 2 out of the last 3 years, last year being the year I didn't go. I was out of town for good buddies wedding :tup: but both the other years I got "give aways" like what you were mentioning. I also signed up for a 2 year subscription to the PAS magazine for $10 it was a promo at the show. Hoping they have it again since I am coming up on 2 years LOL. plus they gave away a bunch of old mags for free which was nice. In the end I look at them quick then just pass them on to my younger brothers the next time I see them anyway :tup:

I haven't decided if we're going. I hate the parking situation at the MTCC.

I can meet up with anyone who's going. I will not go alone with the Z because of the parking as well but if I could park next to another Z then we'll be fine at least one side :tup:

im TTCing down because i almost launched the gf out the window last night due to an unseen road bump. I am not driving downtown if i can help it. Going to go peasantmode on public transit if i end up going to Importfest.

gimme a call when you guys are down there, maybe ill swing by to grab a drink with you guys

Its starts at 12,so i was thinking around that time:tiphat:

best place is bayview village parking lot. its covered if it rains and its full of high end cars (and is mostly empty all of the time)
1) you wont get jacked cuz security is all over that place
2) theres enough room to park far from everyone else if you dont want door dings
3) its covered
4) its right beside bayview station
5) its really close to alcheng's place (and my old place)
6) i pass by a mcdonald's on the way there so i can get a smoothie (aww yeah)

better to park at Maple Leaf Square and walk a little bit. Parking lot under there is never full. Generous parking spaces too

I really want to go but I've got a tight schedule tomorrow. how long do you guys think you need there? Is it like the Auto Show where you just come and go as you please or are there scheduled events etc. that you don't want to miss? I've never been oddly enough

Here are a few picture I took. Personally I didn't think it was a good show, not worth $40 for two adults. I'm used to showing at Performance World and Darknights and bigger shows in the U.S.

It was a last minute thing for us. We were in early and out by 2pm.

I see. we were there at 1:30 left around 2:30. It just felt like ertefa, just not as loud
