Did a quick drive yesterday to check out the cruise route before hand.

Roads look great, no construction or gravel roads. For the most part roads are very smooth no pot holes either.

It's gonna be super fun! A lot of twisties and elevation changes.

how long did the drive take?

Boomer370 09-09-2013 12:54 PM

The drive will take 1:30... It took me a little more cause I lost some day light.. and had to turn around quite a few times as I missed some roads.

But some of the turns were awesome!!!

For a bit I felt like a rally car driver, no street lamps, pitch black, very fun!

I'll try to get out again in the day light, still have to secure the photo shoot spot.

Rattle Snake Point would have been a nice photo op, but can't get access to that house... There is one more house on there that I would like to try.. The driveway sits overlooking the cliffs..

I think I know which house you are talking about..

the one with the long "driveway"...

I drove by there once in late night... (2am)

And the view is eyes-popping...!!!

Boomer370 09-09-2013 01:26 PM

Yup!

That's the one! It's also in a "Y" shaped so it can accommodate our cars.

I've posted on the Ontario Z Car forum about this cruise.

Some interest there also, so might be able to tack on a couple 300z and 350zs.

Cause a lot of 240z, 280z, 300z.. Not too many 350z and 370z.. They all hang out at other forums.

But I don't think I want a 30 car cruise... Well maybe it'll be cool... but logistically it will be a nightmare..

That's easy, we use the bikes to block off roads.

That's what we usually do when a ton of bikes go on a cruise, if they have to make a turn or get through a light they usually block it off and let the others through.

Ire 09-11-2013 08:10 AM

10 cars is max i think. any more and we'll end up splitting into groups. I could easily bring all the Gs in the area but then it becomes no fun. 370 life ;)

I was planning on getting one but i think now i need to wait to see what kind of room i will have.

GaleForce 09-12-2013 04:09 PM

I have a Stillen one that is basically new. I used it on my car for two weeks. It may have seen daylight 2-3 times. I'll let it go for $50 to a local guy in need. Can arrange pick up.
