Why don't u go with Seibon GT-R carbon fiber hood? JRP in Mississauga is an authorized Seibon dealer.

Marcusz 04-18-2013 11:27 AM

I could do that but i dont like the carbon fiber look id have to get it painted, and i dont want hood pins,im just worried about fitment and lifting at speed

Luciano13 04-18-2013 12:02 PM

Im not too sure if u need pins in the hood for carbon fiber....a lot of guys here have CF hoods without pins. Having said that, if your planning to go with a fiberglass hood, if u feel the CF would need pins, the FG will need pins as well. Seibon's fitment is very good. They have VSII style hood which is similar to the duraflex hood u posted. Guaranteed better fitment than duraflex.

Also the price you see on their website is the same price JRP will sell it to you.

Marcusz 04-18-2013 01:57 PM

Yes i like the vs11 ,i am looking into that one,im not sure about the openings do?, it be good to cool of the supercharger but what about all the water getting into it ???? Im gonna do more research

:iagree: Seibon has good quality and you should not have any fitment issues

Lots of good seibon reviews on the forum :tiphat:

Marcusz 04-18-2013 08:47 PM

Marcusz 04-20-2013 04:24 PM

zefaulter 04-20-2013 10:20 PM

Sweet! Good man

Marcusz 04-20-2013 11:10 PM

U like that lol,im gonna do the front tomorow i ran into some problems there is an extra bolt on the front in the way,i did some research and the bolt is only to keep you from instaling the back rims on the front apparently i just need to take it off and trow t away ???? Have you heard of that beforehttp://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/...psa02e5e67.jpg

wheee! 04-21-2013 10:42 AM

yup

zefaulter 04-21-2013 11:04 AM

Yup that's useless lol

LMBmikeZ 04-22-2013 05:02 AM

try this

LMBmikeZ 04-22-2013 05:03 AM

Also IIRC bolt-on 20mm don't work for the front on our cars that might also be your problem :ugh2:

Yes they do, anything 15mm and lower wont work. I currently have 20mm bolt-on up front on my car, no issues.

Marcusz 04-22-2013 04:09 PM

I think it will work, its just that extra bolt that is in the way and apparently its only there to keep anyone from installing the rears on the front,i just have to remove it and throw it away?
