Keep rubbin' it in.... I'll raise your gas prices again! lol

Another perk...being close to the border! I just drive across and fill up!

But we do have PST.:shakes head:

I used to wait till December 1st (my bday and renewal date)

But I'll probably do it Nov 15th, already getting cold and traction sucks, although we are getting 22 on Friday....will drive the piss out of it until mid next month.

Last year snow was here I put her in first snow, then it didnt even snow so I was able to drive all more. December and January were def good months, suprisingly it snowed in March. Summer months are always a plus. The way its looking this season should be close to that, or better. :stirthepot::driving:

I recommend doing the in and out routine. Put her in, take her out when clear, that way you can still have fun in winter months.

That would be nice! Damn makes want to move south even more just thinking about being able to drive it all year long. It's just another reason Ontario sucks I guess......:shakes head: we are highly over salted up here its disgusting.

no they don't salt the roads cuz it rarely goes below freezing, if I remember correctly.

however the odd time they do get snow/ice there are literally like 19,000 accidents in 1 day lol

:rofl2:

I live near Toronto and this will be my first winter with the Z (purchased new in June). I just purchased my winter rims and tires. It's gonna suck a bit driving the Z in the winter but after having driven this car since summer there's no way I can drive around a shitty winter beater until spring ... life's too short for this. I hope we get a mild winter like we did last year.

I'm fortunate enough to have kept my previous car, an 06 Mazda 3, and gave it to my kids to drive. If we get our typical one day of snow they already know I'm taking it back. They're new drivers so best if they aren't driving in snow anyways. :eekdance:
Seems the last few years the snow skips us and dumps on God's country (Seattle) instead! :stirthepot:

Beautiful day today, awesome drive up in Hockley Valley, could be the last this year,
Car is probably going into hibernation on Sunday
Going to be a long 5 months :(

Winter beater > then damaging any Z!.......IMO

Not to mention the other idiots on the road you have to be worried about with the slick roads.

X1000 paying a couple grand to get something to drive and not care what happens to it is peace of mind for me. :icon17:

:iagree:

ShinyBlueZ 10-25-2012 10:09 PM

I decided to keep my old car as a winter beater when I realized after selling it, that was barely enough just to get snow tires and rims for my Z :icon17:

$1.10 a month fire/theft to insure it during the summer. I'll save my Z from salt/rust/ugliness for $6.60 a year

most likely :rofl2: I would be more worried about the other idiots hit me then what I am doing, accidents are just more likely to happen in the winter months.

MD-370z 11-02-2012 12:54 AM
