Redline 75W90 x 2 qts
Redline MT85 x 4 qts

more than enough...

I thought Mobil-1 engine also has ester in it, thus it better than other typical brands..

Otherwise Motul engine oil is really good too.

Thanks for the qts amounts needed, will come in handy when i need to order ;)

And from the research ive done myself and from this site also specifically http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...redline-2.html page #2, they quote mobil 1's website saying

Question:
Ester Oil and Nissan Engines
I've just purchased a Nissan 2009 370Z, which has a 3.7 liter engine that produces 332 HP @ 7500 RPM's, and has a compression ratio of 11 to 1. I've been advised by the Service Manager at Cronic Nissan to run Ester Oil in the engine rather than a good grade of oil, like a 5W-30W. He said that Nissan recommends it. Well, I've researched everything I can find regarding the use of Ester Oil in my Nissan 2009 370Z, and I've been unable to find anything that alludes to the use of Ester Oil in the 370Z engine! What's up with the Ester Oil thing? The only use for Ester Oil that I'm familiar with is for air conditioner compressors and other types of compressors!

Answer:
We have not been able to get much information on the Nissan Ester Oil but our analysis indicates that it is part or full synthetic oil. Many synthetic oils, including Mobil 1, contain a variety of synthetic fluids, and usually this includes esters. We would recommend Mobil 1 5W-30 or Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 for these applications.
So its very vague, it "could" have it but who knows for sure? lol

I use RL for the diff and for the transmission, I stick to the OEM fluid. For some reason, my car does not sit well with RL in the transmission, to notchy. Glad it works for you, it's goooooood stuff.

With all of the research I have carried out on Bobstheoilguy (reading used UOA as well), the following oils are "best" for our cars. Redline, Amsoil Signature Series, Motul X-cess and German Castrol 0w-30. Pick any one you wish, they are all fantastic oils that when changed at 5 - 6000 kilometer intervals, will help with the longevity of your VQ engine.

Redline for transmission
Motul rbf 600 for brake/clutch
Motul xcess engine - i aim for aprox 5000 km interval. One before storage. Drive the car about 1000km out of storage (burn through old gas and run any additives) then change. Car gets about 4 changes a year.

When i got my car tuned by Sasha he said I had a very healthy engine!

Hope all of you are doing well today and enjoying your Z's to the fullest. Our last meet was fun, I enjoyed it, hopefully you all did as well. I would like these things going, once per month is a good interval if anything.

New meet up: July 14, 2018 - 8 p.m
1) The meet on this day will take place in Markham (No negotiations here, last one was in Vaughan/Woodbridge)

2) I am not too familiar with Markham, so could those of you in the area recommend a spot, in a plaza, where there is good food? With the options we get, we can settle on a spot through a group consensus.

3) If it rains this day, the meet up will be pushed to July 15th.

Let's make this happen. Cheers. Oh, saw a white, lowered PW Z coming out of Petro Canada at the intersection of Airport and Williams Parkway.

Markham vip really busy at that time

Tmp_unlimited 06-24-2018 03:29 PM

Hmm how about woodbine/16th plaza or first markham place?

Zyonara91 06-26-2018 03:01 PM

So VIP Ciniplex are is too compact at that time huh? So then our options thus far are First Markham Place.
