Having said that, I jack mine and put 4 rubber mats under each tire. I bought them at COSTCO (the Goodyear garage floor mats), and just cut them to size. Then I put her back down on the mats. The weight of the car then shapes the rubber mats to the tires. Cheap trick!

But, it really isn't required.

I didn't do anything to mine last year too and everything was ok when spring came, I did move the car a bit during Winter when I get a chance.

Thanks for all the input!!

Exactly this. Putting your car on a jack stand for an extended period will damage your suspensions. Especially for those who changed into aftermarket springs/coilovers.

Simply inflate your tires to 40-ish, and check the inflation once a while (I do it once a month), and will keep flat spots to a minimum.

Even if there were minor flat spots on your tires after winter, take it out for a spin on a highway when spring/summer returns, and they'll go away.

Been doing this for the past few years without a problem.

Also recommended is either disconnect your battery, or connect your battery with a battery tender device (Such as those made by CTEK)

Do you need the store to install the bulb for you?? Or you gonna DIY??

Also, even if you get it from a local store, don't think there's a 1 year warranty or stuffs like that for bulbs.

BTW, are you looking for LED or regular light bulbs?

Ire and I met up on a Sunday night to cruise around a bit and take pics. Sorry the quality is kind of bad, my cellphone doesn't like to take pics with minimal lighting.
Here are some we took, really shows how sweet a 370z looks when its lowered compared to the stock height (my roadster).

LMBmikeZ 11-19-2012 06:45 PM

Nice  Ire is always doing something!

:iagree: lowering springs and spacers are two mods that will completely change the overall appearance of the Z! I was loving mine from day one after I installed them, I couldn't stop looking at my Z cause it looked so much better!

Ire 11-19-2012 08:16 PM

Doesn't matter about the back order, we have at least 5 months before we really need it...

But it's a very good deal, just to let you guys know....

Because if many of us are planning to track the Z next year, eventually we need to buy it, and it's rare to have a discount like this....

ye did them myself. just about 2 days of work, with taking your sweet *** time and learning how to do it. If i were to do it again id say it would only take about 60% of the time. The biggest time consumer is waiting for paint to dry. Even with the plastic cutting and shaving you still have alot of time to wait for the paint. That being said i didnt sand or remove the chrome i used Krylon Fusion for Plastic paint which bonds to it. So a bunch of time was saved on that. As always with painting, you have to do light coats and wait for them to dry somewhat before going over again. The plastic is just waay too slipery and paint will just drip right off if you spray alot. Trust me i learned this through trial and error.

Miki 12-11-2012 04:21 PM

That's pretty sweet though man. The fact that you have the balls to even take them apart and put them back together. It turned out good. I wanted to take mine apart just to paint inside, nothing to do with the lights but I'm always scared of fogging that's all. If your is still good come spring time, you can help me with mine :) lol

MrSir 12-11-2012 11:54 PM

fogging is not that big of a problem really. They would fog up because of moisture getting in. What i did to mine is on top of the black glue that was already on them, after reheating it up and glueing them back together, i sealed the edge with clear silicone all around. So that should definately block off anything getting in from there. In the event that this fails and moisture gets in (aka not enough silicone) you just need to remove the cap on the back that gives access to the main projector light bulb, and maybe twist of some of the other light bulbs to allow more air to get in, and just leave the lights in a warm place for the moisture to dissapear. After its gone close up and apply more silicone. Or if you are hardcore rip it open again, clean out all the silicone and glue, buy fresh butyl rubber glue maybe some additional liquidy super black glue and re glue that sucker together. Its quite abit more work, but in either case not really rocket science to get rid of the fogging, so its not that much of a problem. A more annoying issue is if you left finger prints or smudges on the inside of the lense. They will be visible from close up and you cant wipe them off since they are on the inside, only way is to open and clean them, or live with it.
