Here are all the dates Track Junkies > Events - MotorsportReg.com I filled out all the info about the car and my skill level. If its your first time on the track or first time in a different car they will probably ask that you get an instructor.

Its self tech all i had to do to prep my car was replace my brake fluid :) and put on some new pads for the track.

Yeah I am going to try and get on there this year, I need to do my brakes before I trust it on the track however.

K got my H&R spacers and SPC camber/toe kit - install is tomorrow. These spacers are suppose to be lightweight... huh? I better check if I got the right ones... lol.

haha They weren't that loud for me at all but they were up to temperature for sure. They felt great on the track though! super dusty but it was super easy to clean off after unlike the dust from the hawk hp+ pads I had on other cars.

Never had a problem coming into the front straight. If i didn't mess up the chicane section, which i almost did all the time hahaha I probably could have almost topped out 4th. Even with messing it up i could get up to about 6000rpm in 4th.

Even with 20 min lapping sessions and lots of hard braking i never got any fade from them either :D. The boosted guys should be able to get into 5th in the front straight if brave enough. might even want a bit more pad as well maybe the xp20's

JMac who has the same kit I believe was 12.2. Best I could get out of her was a 13 even. James has a bit more stout of a tune and weighs a bit less than me.

What pads are you using on the back? Tires?
Also do you notice that with any serious application of them, you trigger ABS?

carbotech didn't' have any rears in stock to get me any in time so I just had new stockers. I am gonna get some for the rear for the next track day as well. Tires are RE11's 285 all around the car rotated awesome turn in was very quick.

This is numbered backwards for some reason, but the only corner that i ever even got close to getting some ABS I think it kicked on twice it was from turn 8 to turn 7 you had to go hard on the brakes to make the reducing radius turn to be lined up right for #6. At the start It never came on but once i got a good handle on that section 10-9-8 I could get into 4th on that straight If i was really on it. Other than that ABS never came on any where else. It would be nice to have Jmac's traction control set up and trail brake even with VDC off just cuts all power :(

Interesting. I was running XP 10/8 and I would get ABS kicking in all the time on hard braking, it was actually significantly increasing my stopping distance. The tires still had grip for days, and the brakes were fairly warm. Now I'm running XP 8/8 and it's not as noticeable but still happens. I'm wondering if it's that ice mode problem, or perhaps too much rear grip is throwing the system off?

Mitco39 06-19-2014 04:16 PM

The Racelogic does work very well. I actually find it does such a good job that instead of spinning and drifting through the corners the back end actually starts to slide sideways from the G's and not from spinning. This sort of breaking the rear end makes it much easier to control than say if you were to slip out the rear end from wheel slippage.

Its an awesome unit.

Hey Mitch - sorry for the late reply - kinda surprized with an even 13, but if you don't mind what are u trapping at? I can only imagine over 115 and what are your 60ft times?

Swift springs installed - with SPC camber kit - and H&R spacers 15/20 - was afraid it looked like a dragster - when it was jack stands -but then when we removed the jack stands everything settled just fine. And the ride is fantastic, the swift springs are amazing - so many reviews about them - and I am a believer!!! Thxs to Mark/Joel for the recommendations!

next step - I got the CS spec ME - lip being painting and hope to be installed later this week, but might have regrets cause its FRP and it might scrape against everything.
