Thanks Pylon, that's great info!!!!

if those are true, I wonder how many ppl will be successful in getting anything lower than msrp

FricFrac 02-26-2009 01:32 PM

There isn't a lot of room to move on the price considering what it cost to hire staff, rent/mortgage, etc....

Pylon 02-27-2009 12:07 AM

Yup they're true. I have the official documentation from Nissan.

Here's the price for the 2011 Nissan 370Z Touring
MSRP: $42,878
Invoice: $39,638

I would post the actual car report but I don't know how to. The site I went to was carsaver.ca and their reports are free.

what really is the difference for the 2011 and the 2010 model?

FricFrac 01-14-2011 01:51 PM

The 2009 -> 2010 was in cabin air filters and heated side mirrors. Dunno if they added anything for 2011.... 3 grand is a huge jump unless they added turbos I didn't hear about....

djpathfinder 01-14-2011 07:17 PM

2010 --> 2011 added back up cam.

djpathfinder 01-14-2011 07:18 PM

It sucks that the Canadian consumer still pays so much more than the American consumer for the same thing.

370Z_Fan 01-14-2011 08:43 PM

It sucks even more that I had to pay $40 to get invoice pricing. Where the heck was carsaver when I was car shopping back in the spring of 2010?
