If anyone is interested, Village Nissan at Kennedy and Highway 7 in Markham ON just got a 2010 anniversary edition, manual transmission, navigation, selling for about 48400 dollars. Salesman also said they will have another anniv ed also arriving in the next few weeks. Here are some pics

Which is now virtually par to American Dollars.

I wanted the 40th anniv badly, but now that I've done little things to customize my MB 370z, the only thing I would still love to get my hands on is that Red Leather Interior.

SMcK23 03-25-2010 07:49 PM

It's not that much more, $1,200? Plus it is one of 1,000 in the US. I think its pretty exclusive and well worth it if you plan on keeping it for a long time.

akaisuzu 03-28-2010 05:55 AM

lol I happened to went and see the exact same car at the exact same day.

Sibze 03-29-2010 06:24 PM

The Burlington Nissan has one too

akaisuzu 03-30-2010 11:57 AM

So does Agincourt, but its an Automatic

370Z_Fan 03-30-2010 12:08 PM

How much is Agincourt Nissan asking?

Is that on the road or MSRP?

Pretty sure that the one at Agincourt is auto.

370Z_Fan 03-31-2010 03:47 PM

If that's MSRP, then they can keep it. That's too much for red leather, red painted calipers, and some subtle badgings.

:iagree: Finally, someone agrees with me.:stirthepot:

SkyZ 03-31-2010 05:38 PM

haha thats actually a good price tho. its the same as a fully loaded normal Z. which this is. 40th comes with sports pkg right? and this one has navi. so if ur gonna get a Z with sport and navi why not get a 40th anni instead of a normal one.

willtangclan 04-06-2010 12:49 PM

I got mine with navi and sport package for 46017 at same dealership

370Z_Fan 04-07-2010 02:36 PM

Which Nissan dealership are you working at?

Um, look at the front license plate frame. I wonder if they drilled 1" holes into the bumper to fit the plate frame?:icon18:

Hey Andre, do you have any roadsters in stock right now? I'm looking for black on black with sport package.

Definitely go for the 40th anniversary edition, the color is sick!

Hey. Already sold what I had, but I can get that for you at a good price.
I could either dealer trade for it, or do a factory order. It is better to get it fresh off the boat even if you have to wait for it. Cars sitting on lots have a tendancy to get abused.

What is the wait time for a fresh off the boat car? I'm seriously looking at getting a new car in May. My max waiting (patience) time is about a month, is this doable? Is $500 over invoice doable?

Anything is possible. It would take about 6 weeks for a factory build. I could probably find one locally that hasn't been beat on, if I make some calls.

Please don't come in here and say it takes six weeks. There are many on this forum who ordered their Z's and waited months, not weeks.

6MT 04-12-2010 05:17 PM

Factory orders from Nissan take a minimum of 12 weeks. Some have waited as much as 18 weeks for delivery.

Do you guy's sell these cars every day? It depends at what stage of production the car is at (WIP), and whether it has been allocated or not.
I've delivered factory orders in 6-8 weeks, dozens of times.

You obviously weren't around last spring & summer. Most, if not all factory orders for this car (the 370Z) were three month waits. Twelve weeks was the minimum wait time for a factory order, period. As I mentioned earlier, some waited much longer (in excess of 18 weeks).

This year "may" be different. But the wait times for factory orders from Japan are still pretty long. I'm not complaining (many others did and loudly). I knew going in (from a well informed salesman) that the wait would be around 12 weeks. I think a lot of people got very "uptight" about sales people who promised something that was unachievable (the 6 to 8 week window).

So if you're promising that length of time, don't be surprised if people come down on you very hard when that window is compromised. A little due diligence goes a long way (on both sides of a transaction). Also remember, this is not a heavy production sub-compact. It is a pretty limited production sports car. (Again adding to the wait times.)

budlight 04-12-2010 09:11 PM

:iagree: My wait was 102 days. 6 to 8 weeks sounds extremely optimistic.

Not a very professional reply. People cannot determine "tone" in print, so it would have worked to your benefit to be kind and clear with your answers..

I see you're from Airport nissan.. care to comment on this?

WOW!:wtf2: This guy sounded a little too good to be true. Hopefully everyone who is considering this "Dealership", will have second thoughts.

Yeah, I was around, that was last year, PRE production. of course there was a wait for a brand new model that had not yet entered production.

I just delivered a factory order 370 in 8 weeks, which is how I know that it is possible. Do some people wait longer? Certainly, but as I said before, it depends on the stage of production, and the allocation.

Whether you believe it to be professional or not, the question is valid. Given the circumstances, my response was both kind, and clear in my opinion.

That had nothing to do with me, which the article clearly states. Those people have been fired, and are being prosecuted. Everyone that was involved was aware of what was happening, no buyers were taken advantage of, they were paid for the use of their information.

Here is clear tone for you: It's pretty ignorant to make blanket statments about an organization, based on past actions of 3 terminated employees.

Our dealership is number one in the GTA for client satisfaction. There is nothing shady about that.

I'm not asking for your business, or anyone elses. I'm attempting to help forum members on price, and product without the hassle.
If you don't see the value in that, I really don't have to post here.

So, you want to sell cars to members? Then give the members $500 over invoice. Now, that is helping members! Us Canucks just keep getting facked over and over. There is a US form member who works for Nissan Corporate. He can offer members VPP pricing, usually well below invoice at participating dealers. And there still making a profit. But what do we get up here? Jack sh1t! So why not take the lead and offer the members special pricing? Balls in your court. Don't drop it.

I'll have you know that when I ordered mine it was in mid-April. NOT "pre-production"! I really don't think you get it. You should really read the posts about the long waits (the search function is useful for that purpose). AGAIN, mine was well after production had started. In fact with my order; I was very close to not getting it. Mine was the last production run before re-tooling for the roadsters. If I would have waited just 2 more days, I would have had to wait for the 2010 model.

As far as the accusations of fraud goes... people can make up thier own minds. My advice is to do the talking with your wallet and try someone who has not been accused and convicted of "shady" dealings.

As an earlier poster put it... "not a very professional reply". Maybe, just maybe, you should ask AK (the owner of this forum) if you can apply to be a forum vendor. Like all the rest of the legitimate businesses on this forum. Your admission of "using buyer's information and paying them" to sell vehicles to others, may have an influence on that decision.

I'm not trying to be rude. Or demean your business. But a lot of us have had the experience of ordering their Z and having to wait. We can smell if something doesn't sound right. And your statement of getting a factory ordered Z in 6 to 8 weeks and doing it dozens of times, just sounds a bit strange. I hope that's a polite enough way of putting it.

I have no problem with that.

I don't think that you get it. We had customers driving their 370's two months before you even ordered yours. If you want a sports car for the spring, you place your order in the fall...... not in spring, which puts you in the first allocation. That is what an informed salesperson will tell you.

It doesn't seem like you're familiar with supply and demand. If the allocation of a production run is exhausted, then you must wait for the next production run with an available allocation. If you're lucky, it's the next one. You said it yourself, you ordered too late at that time. The demand this year, is nowhere near where it was last year.

Again, I had nothing to do with that, and no real customers were affected. I think you may need to get hooked on phonics for first read comprehension. I made no admission, and was not involved; it was clearly there in the article.

I'm not trying to be rude either (trust me), but you seem a little jilted by your bad experience which none of my customers have had to endure, having been properly consulted. Not all those factory orders were Z's, and I hadn't stated that they were. Again, it depends on the allocation, and the stage of production.

kalexand 04-14-2010 01:44 PM

I ordered my 370Z Anniv on Mar 4, and was just emailed that the new est arrival date is now 30 Apr, originally it was 15 May, so I guess it depends.
