Type of brakes help!!!

Hello.
i recently buy a 2010 370z in Israel and i have annoying squeak sounds from the front brakes.

yesterday i visit the dealership for the 60k km service and they say the squeak sounds are because that the shims plate behind the brake pads are missing.

anyway long story short.. they want a funny amount of money for fixing it.

can some one help me to get the correct code for the front brake HARDWARE KIT?

its look like there is few types for the 2010 370z.

i attached a picture of the front calliper if its help (sorry for the bad quality)

It looks like you have the Akebono brakes. Those are the upgraded brake calipers that come with the sports package.

I believe you need 41080K on this page: Front Brake

This is the kit here. Note that you want the one for Sport models.

There only two types available.

Non Sport Base Brakes that come with the 18" Wheels

Sport Pkg (Akebono) Brakes that come with the 19" Wheels (As in your picture shows)

The dealer would be the quickest place to get the shims replaced unless you track down a wreckecked one with the same Sport Pkg Brakes.

Courtesy Nissan May I say may have that part.

You will have to research that, But honestly by the time it gets to your part of the world? You've might as well as just bought it straight from the dealer unless they are just ridiculous with the price one the shims.

with Trips. The dealer is going to be your best bet, even if the price is a bit high. If they're quoting a full fix, then they probably included labor. Brakes are expensive to pay someone to work on, but fairly easy to DIY with the proper tools. GL

Replacing brake pads on these cars is extremely easy. All you need is a jack,socket and large wrench to remove the wheels, and a pair of needle nose pliers to pull some pins out.

+1. Anyone who possesses even a little bit of mechanical skill can do their own brakes.

All you need is the right tools (floor jack & jack stands). I highly recommend learning as you can save some significant money.
