Idk dude. Mine sounded like that for a week or so. But I don't hear it ,now. Maybe put some more miles on them and soften the settings to work them alittle more. Try Calling them up again on Monday and email them the link to your video.

You were right, it's the valves. But after several hundred miles and a track day they should be "broke in." Stance is sending new 1 ways with helper springs and 12k's, taking mine back, going to fix it, and send them back. So plus 1 on service thus far.

Nice, thats good they arent leaving you high and dry. Everytime i called them i was very satisfied and never angry afterwards. Did they give you a timeline when you would get yours back?

synolimit 08-27-2014 02:12 PM

Sending out today, maybe a week turn around.

I messaged Synolimit a bit before putting in my order and from my memory, his new set fixed his issues with the old one.

synolimit 06-01-2016 06:33 PM

Yes they fixed it. A valve was locked.

So far after 2 years I have not had a problem. My only gripe is when I adjust the compression to full soft the rear shocks click alittle on crappy roads but I only have them soft when my wife drives my Z, (maybe twice a month).

I haven't been to the track or autox in a year so I don't have anymore data on that. But back roads my car is still a monster.

So I'm finally going to return my coilovers to be fixed again. It wasn't a problem at first but now it is since I need more adjustability. The lower mounting perch that stance included is too short. I cannot raise the car up anymore and I'm rubbing even though I have a widebody and my OEM fender is cut out. Because the lower perch is too short I've had to raise my car using the upper spring mount. The rear spring also uses a helper spring which at this point is 100% useless because I've had to tighten the upper mount so much to raise the car up. The helper spring is 100% smashed up which is putting way too much preload on the spring. So I called stance and they are going to take them back and give me a new lower and longer perch mount and inspect and do anything that they need to. This should only be a problem for me and the OP as we were the first to buy these and it was pretty much a custom set up for us. I'm sure by now all their kinks have been worked out.

PS i've only now needed this adjustment since the car is on track and I've been having rubbing issues along with too much understeer and I need all of my help spring to be used.

Are you needing stock height or higher due to setup? I'd read they should be able to adjust to at least within .5" from stock. Or is it an issue with that particular set you got, that it the perch was shorter than it should've been?

Im as high as i can go and ive got about 7/8th maybe from tire being flush with fender. Seems to be an issue with the custom setup i got.

Sounds like quite the drop... Fingers crossed that standard setups have a bit higher range. Hope they get you sorted out alright!
