CV Joint at only 11k miles?

I have a 2009 with only Eleven Thousand miles. yet when I turn to the left it makes a thumping, knocking, or popping sound similar to a CV joint going

I have a 2009 with only Eleven Thousand miles. yet when I turn to the left it makes a thumping, knocking, or popping sound similar to a CV joint going out. Could this just need some grease in a boot or something. This is my first post and first Z so any help would be appreciated. Any Ideas? Thanks.
