Yea. I have only had the Nismo 5 days. I grew up on the track so I know how to drive, but want to spend the time getting to know my new car and how she handles. She's defiantly different than my 07' and I could really push the limits in that one.

Exactly.

ZLady, I'd upgrade the pads for a track day, but besides that, kick āss out there!

Brakes ducts should probably be next in terms of mods, then fluid. (Maybe do fluid and lines at the same time)

Talk to the track rats here. I'm following on what they here to say. It's been good advice. Watch on your selection on pads. Too much bite up front and a rear wheel locks for a sec, and you can get ice-mode if you're a heavy braker.

Are the high rigidity hoses just less flexible rubber then?

carbotech xp8's all around, rbf600 for both clutch and brake fluid, and you should be good to go.

SS lines you can definitely do at the same time as the brake fluid flush, but its not 100% necessary. brake ducts are nice too, but i honestly doubt you'd hit any brake fade with the above mods as a beginner. i know i dont.

Teflon inner with stainless steel braided outer - substantially more capable of resisting "swelling" than rubber.

How are those different than other SS lines then?

Sounds like they are just as good and OEM to boot

They're not. Some though have a clear outer shell to protect the SS.

Some oil/fuel SS lines though are soft rubber with a SS outer. Don't think anyone uses that on brakes though.

Thought the Nismo came with a higher temp fluid from Nissan?

You forgot, he has one too. So that makes 4, or 40% of the '13 Nismo's. LMAO :stirthepot:
