Hi, I don't know what to say but I have a complete set (fronts/rears) and have no complaints. The SS lines provided from StopTech for the fronts are protected and compatible w/ the Nissan GTR. You might have an old generation line.

1st. Those look different than mine. Mine looked more like the OP. Mine came with installation instructions that looked like they came out of a fortune cookie. Just like the OP.

I ordered the fronts back in September form Amazon. This is the part # (950.42012)

2 minutes of googling on my phone while waiting for the tow truck provided so much more insight into the world of stainless steel brake lines. I must have spent 30min googling to make sure it was the correct part for my car before clicking "add to cart".

Next time I make a purchase for my car, I'm gonna spend some time googleing:

{name of thing Im buying} + "fail"
{name of thing Im buying} + "problem"
{name of thing Im buying} + "catastrophic"
{name of thing Im buying} + "almost died tonight"

Allow me to save you the trouble when it comes to ss braided brake lines:

The reason why Ferrari, Porsche and others dont put Super Stoptech SS braided lines on their cars from factory is not because of cost cutting or service intervals.. It's cause they dont want a reputation for killing their customers with faulty brake components.

That line does look like it was rubbed though.
