Shouldn't, unless the broken end hits something. It should just hang down.

Do the end links break cuz the sway bar is set to the stiffest setting? Or what exactly makes them break?

The way I understand it is the stiffer sway resists the movement of the endlink more, putting greater strain on the link. Eventually, it ***** the bed.

Ordered the Eibach sways f/r from Tire rack, will post impressions once their installed.
I have the Z Speed shroud to go on too along with an oil change.
Now just debating aftermarket end links.
Sometimes this car is worse than owning a boat. :rofl2:

No, some vehicles beg to be played with. The Z is one of one.

Yeah, the balljoint started to fail. Also (and this is partially installer error) the nut loosened itself up over time, and rubbed some of the threads smooth so you couldn't tighten the nut down all the way so it always clunked.

To be fair, this is the first Whiteline product I've ever had a problem with, and I pretty much had their entire catalogue on my STi.

kenchan 11-11-2013 11:14 AM

yah, we've seen pict of the entire thread just stripping out. lol

it's great they're thinking about light weight, but damn, use stronger materials.

Really? How did I miss that? :rofl2: I've got one with an inch of threads worn smooth. Kinda irritating considering that SPL endlinks only cost $30-40 more. Now I've got to buy a new set.

I haven't broken any. Someone else broke one. My stock endlinks are sloppy, and I went to the SPL's.

:icon17: yah, might as well spend the extra if you plan on running the bar on a stiffer setting.
