As far as I could tell Akebono was another after market part like Brembo, Wildwood, etc. Thus my question. FYI, if you're looking to upgrade the base brakes, the ones from the G37 are the same exact part, but have a different color and Infiniti logo. They're cheaper for some reason, so most go that route if they plan to powdercoat or save some cash. Z1 Motorsports sells the entire set at a reasonable price. There is plenty of info in the brakes section and a DIY somewhere on here.
