Trying out some new brake items at Zspeed

As usual we actually test what we sell for the most part, Not completely done with the install yet, Still need to do the rears and bleed with some RBF-600 then I will report back, Ran out of time today.

At 18,000 miles the front brakes were pulsing/shaking already so
we were looking for a cost effective yet great upgrade on the brakes (ZDayz and track days coming up fast) this seemed to fit the bill nicely.

EBC USR Ultimax rotors
EBC Redstuff brake pads
ZSpeed Stainless brake line kit
Motul RBF-600 fluid.

This is all available from us, We are having the website reworked so they are not listed yet but will be on the new site. Feel free to call us if you are interested in purchasing.

Will update on feel and performance gains once they are done, with more pics!

I put some more miles on this set-up today and I have to say it is a HUGE improvement in feel and stopping distance. The pads are very linear and I think more predictable than the stock pads.

With the stock pads/rotors they did not seem to bite much more after the initial bite, with these the harder you push it just shoves you in your seat belts ;) There is a large difference from stock and very noticeable. Kinda like going from small stock brakes to a big brake kit difference....

front rotors only for sport brakes

KaienZ34 03-19-2012 06:02 PM

Ok for the street and track? Or a bit much for the street?

I don't think they are too much for the street at all, Quiet, Low dust, Very linear. This is a street and moderate track set-up.
