Well, for a street pad the redstuffs did AMAZINGLY well! 3, 30 minute (or longer) sessions at Mid Ohio this weekend and performed great! First session I was using the brakes A LOT (driver error) and felt a tiny bit of pedal softness after the long back straight when I had rode the pads into the corner from about 130mph however by the next corner they were back to normal. I used the brakes harder and shorter after that and they performed perfectly.
I will probably go with the Yellowstuffs or even the NDX Blue for any future track days but the Redstuffs will definitely hold their own and is my new DD pad for sure due to the "NO DUST" properties they have. This is over 400 miles of street driving and 3 sessions on the track starting with clean wheels. Note: I had no dust showing after 400 miles on the road, this is all from the track. http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...rdsize=717x960 Whiteline sway bars set at stiff on front and middle on the rear paired with the Eibach springs did better than I could imagine, I would have been scared on the track with the stock stuff, It was pretty bad at Tail of the Dragon this spring.... The car was very neutral on the track and controllable. http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...dsize=1280x956 On the soft position, Changed to stiff before we left. http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...dsize=1280x956 http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...dsize=1280x956 Little bit of tire carnage http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...rdsize=717x960 http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...dsize=1280x956 The MAN himself (Dave) that builds all the South Bend DXD clutches and his 350Z http://photos.zspeedperformance.com/...size=1600x1200 |
