I totally agree with everyone here….the Koni + Swift Spec-R was a great seat up, true it won’t compare to a high end coilover but it will be much better over stock and over cheap coilover set up..

Not to forget they are rebuildable….. When I had the 350z, I did run them, also installed white line sway bars…..handle great. But I would only recommend this set up to guys that are not weekend warriors at the track, but would be great for daily driving and canyon runs…..time to time on the track but don’t expect to be shaving massive seconds with this particular setup…

they've been released:

fronts are $388 each MSRP
rears are $360 each MSRP

PM me for more info :)

I had Koni's on a Civic years ago... They had an adjustable spring perch on them. Do the ones for the 370z have the adjustable spring perch?

I would guess no, because of the rear set-up, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Wow Msrp does not compare favorably to v3s

TerribleONE 01-11-2012 05:37 PM

wow pretty pricey... interested to read a review. especially with them being priced very close with a set of springs as the KW3s...

dAvenue 01-11-2012 05:43 PM

That MSRP is stupid-high. TireRack offers them much cheaper than that.

edconline 01-12-2012 12:10 AM

^ This.

Alchemy 01-12-2012 06:51 AM

Yeah, that price is borderline ridiculous. May have to cross these off my "want" list.

Alchemy 01-12-2012 06:56 AM

Just checked Tirerack. The total came to $1068 shipping and tax included. Much more reasonable:tup:

 that's much better. Still high but for the number they will probably sell its pretty fair.

edconline 01-12-2012 07:33 AM

So if tirerack is selling the set for $1068 tax/shipped as their regular price, then I'm thinking vendors here should be able to do sub 1K shipped for forum members no problem

I can sell them for 925 plus shipping. The are special order, so I don't know how long it would take to get to me, but I have a wholesale account with a supplier.

haha just posted MSRP prices so you guys had an idea... no one can actually sell them at MSRP it's just a ridiculous margin Koni sets up so they can discount for vendors. Anyways, shoot me a PM if you want sub 1K prices =P

do it :) we need someone on the forum to test them out for all of us

Alchemy 01-12-2012 03:52 PM

Excuse the noob question, as I have never personally installed aftermarket shocks before. Do you re-use the stock top hat??

Thanks for the info:tup:

If Kami has good pricing, by all means buy from him. I'm just offering to get them to do folks a favor, not sell product. My gig is powdercoating, not parts sales, just like to help when I can.
