Default spacers and lowering... advice?

hey folks,

I am looking to do a one inch drop all around and really like the look achieved with spacers

One of my friends told me to ask if there will be clearance issues with say 25mm rear, 20 mm front spacers and the one inch drop.

I don't want to be rolling the fenders, as he said he did on his car

any advice is appreciated

cheers

Check out the spacers 101 sticky . Tons of info and a few pics also.
All my research had lead me to buy 20f 25r. Should be no problem.

Some minor rubbing in the front on hard bumps.

^^ This.

Wheel specs and tire sizing are the biggest factors. Assuming you're running stock wheels and OEM tire sizes, you're only going to rub in the front on big bumps, or if you're at full lock and pulling into an unusually steep driveway. It'll rub the fender liners before anything else, so you're not going to do any damage to anything besides the plastic fender liners.

20 front / 25 rear looks excellent!! I recommend H&R spacers because their high quality and include hub centric rings. If you need help sourcing parts, PM me.

I have 20mm front and 25mm rear H&R, with swifts and on stock rays... no rubbing and the drop looks just perfect

here's a couple from different angles. 20mm front stud replacement (even though you can use slip-ons) and 25mm rear slip ons. H&R. Swift springs.

Zbrah and predikt like this.

Cheshirecat, looks great! Any issues with the 20 & 25mm spacers, rubbing or otherwise?

Current Setup :

Stock Rays
Swift Springs - Height Drop: 1.25 inches / 1.0 inches (front / rear)
H&R Spacers - 20mm / 25mm (front / rear)

No Issues. Perfect Drop and i am sure many people have this same setup.
