Odd that you'd want to run linear springs with v12s.

I'd rather have predictable flex in my springs than unpredictable sidewall flex on a set of linear springs.

You know that the v12 are on my 20in wheels so there is almost no sidewall flex, plus my 18in track wheels have re-11 on them but I haven't had a chance to put them on the car with the coilovers.

Plus it is alot easier to change tires than change springs.

springs take maybe 90 minutes to swap, if you've never worked on a car before.

Tires take going someplace with the right equipment, and probably a bit longer.

90 minutes to swap then time to settle, time for alignment,I'm glad you have that kind of time to do it I don't plus I have a guy who does my tire change so it's not big deal.

Springs -- Swift
Coilovers -- KW V3

if money is tight...pick up the Swift springs...they are the best out there.
if you are close, wait a little and save for the KW's...my customers ALWAYS thank me for making them wait for the KW's ;)

No, the dampers / shocks / shock housings are not the same and are valved completely differenently as they is a noticable difference in simple ride feel between the 2. somewhere on one of the toyota or 300zx boards did a shock dyno comparison and they were no where near each other.

Incorrect. BC and Powertrix are in no way affiliated. BC is manufactured in Taiwan and Powertrix is manufactured in Korea. Powertrix does private label for a few other coilover companies (Not BC)

Sure no problem. I'm sure many will appreciate CORRECT information.
Many would also agree to post that which is not false and helps the community instead of uselessness that does not help anyone. Never figured to get chastized for that. Just expected a bit more maturity on this board. LOL. Enjoy.

If anybody was looking for this info they stopped looking in Oct 2011,and for a newbie I would have expected more maturity in knowing that forums don't want to revive threads.

Read the rules:rolleyes:

Umm not really? For the record I actually read through all 4 pages. Decent info.

That being said most times necrothreads are a PITA and useless
