If you don't track your car and don't need the ride height adjustability then you're better off with a nice set of springs and upgraded shocks.

Eibach springs and Tokico shocks are a great alternative

daisuke- what is a z1 motorsports coilover? Get KW v3's They ride awesome.

Do not get gf210s' they rode horribly over any uneven surface. I hated them... even paired with Nismo struts I didnt like them.

for 1K i say BC BR coilovers, you can even customize spring rates within a +/- 4k range (range from their recommended spring rates), I can also throw in a set of extenders for the rear

if you want to spend a little more you can get the ER, which are inverted monotube (between $1200-$1300) or for this same price I can hook you up with some BR w/ Swift coilover springs ;)

and if you end up just wanting springs I'd say go for Swift Spec-R, the best springs hands down

KW V3's are nice Coilovers but they get to much hipe, the BC BR or ER are just as good as V3's and cheaper.

He might have had it on the stiffest setting.

True, as I do not know how it was set up.

I just put the ER's on mine w/Swift Racing springs and they were revavled,I couldn't have bought a better set up for the money I spent.

The ride is pretty good compared to say stock? I'm looking for a smoother ride more than anything as the wife hates how rough the z is.

I turned mine down all the way to see how soft it would be and is was like I was driving a sofa.
