Both Sway Bars Needed?

Looking to get sway bars for my car. Stillen only sells the kit, but Hotchkis sells them separately. Are both needed?

I'd say get both. Really doesn't make since to stiffen just the front or rear. If so you are bound to have more under/oversteer. They really work in harmony together.

Excellent! Seen a lot of good reviews of Stillen's kit...especially since I won't be tracking the car.

Yah definitely get the front and rear.

The Stillen sway bars are what I got, for that very reason. They are awesome and really help the car's balance and control body roll. You should definitely get both though.

Get both.

But you can run whatever combination you want (stock bar with an aftermarket bar) depending on your preference.

Thanks for the responses guys! The list of mods keeps getting longer, even though I'm crossing stuff off haha.

yah like add 15mm spacers. :D

What sways would you guys recommend for track duty? Whitelines are extremely expensive.

I use stillen, with the rear on medium. I believe the stillen and Hotchkis have the same specs, but the stillen is cheaper. I could be wrong on that because I bought them 2 years ago. If they aren't identical though, they are close.

hotchkis has a significantly stiffer front bar, which to me is not a good thing

Is disassembly of the exhaust necessary to install the rear sway?

SPOHN 09-29-2011 05:23 PM

Yes
