I just ordered my Eibach springs yesterday. I knew that the camber would change, but does those negative camber numbers wear the tires and hinder the handling of the car a lot? I was also planning to put 15mm spacers in the front and rear. Will that make it worse? :confused:The camber kits are really pricey.

What was the toe and caster settings? I believe your fronts are off by about -.20 and rears by -5.5.

I was reading the other forum and the guy had either 20 or 25mm spacers and it created more negative camber. So i believe with the drop and the spacers will create even more negative camber. I'm not sure how much negative camber creates excessive tire wear.

which companies make camber kits for the 370?

From memory the toe was about 0.0 front and 0.05 rear. The caster was about 5.0.

any luck with the fronts? i read that due to the front brakes, it was not possible to mount the same style spacers. not sure if there is any validity to that, just want to check before i order em up.

Hi Alan, how much do you think that negative camber will effect tire wear and handling? I ordered the pro kit but haven't installed them yet, a little concerned at the findings.

The negative camber will accelerate the wear, that is a given. As to how much on the Bridgestones I don't have the answer. My guess is that if I leave it there the rears won't see 10k.

I'd like to get the rear closer to -1.8/-2

Sorry for going off topic here but I have a quick question.

I'm thinking of dropping my car a bit and I'm a bit confused about the difference between coilover and springs. From what I've gathered:

Springs - cheaper, unadjustable
Coilover - more expensive, adjustable

Am I somewhat correct?

You're pretty much right.

Basically coilovers are a spring, shock absorber package that is designed to work together. The better ones are height adjustable (but not by definition), and the real good ones (typically for the track oriented) have adjustable valving for compression and rebound.

Lowering springs work by simply replacing the stock spring with one that is slightly shorter but has a similar spring rate to the stock unit so that it will be compatible with the stock shock absorber.

I just installed my prokit.Mission completed...no more wheel gap. I didnt notice too much of a difference in the camber....I do know it changed, i just plan to wait until other camber kits come out.
