Brakes Sticking to Rotors after Wash..

So, it seems that after i wash my car and leave it in the garage, the next day or so when i go to drive it, i put the car in reverse and i hear a loud POP noise. Noticed last night that my brakes are sticking to the rotors, almost from the slim layer of rust that forms on them from after a car wash. I typically wash my car, dry it and then put it in the garage, about 10 feet in front of me. Does anyone have this issue or have any solutions to this? I can clearly see the marks from where the brakes were stuck to the rotor...

It's normal. You can either hit it with an air compressor or leaf blower after washing to really dry it out or drive around the block. Also, when washing, make sure you rinse off any left over product from any wheel cleaner you might have used.

Ok thanks. Good to know its normal. I havent used anything on the wheels besides soap and water and i do rinse pretty well. Might have to try the leaf blower trick next time.

Yes, pretty normal. Let it dry and then do what you've done.... break them loose by moving the car.

Yea, ive been braking them loose when the car goes in reverse. Just scared me the first few times haha. Thanks again for the info guys...
