Wheel spacers: For looks, for handling or both?

There's not going to be any changes in the handling department with spacers.

Is that because the increase in track is, on a percentage basis, quite small?

I have to disagree on that, especially if you stagger the rear.
With 20mm spacers in the rear and the front wheels with no spacers, my car is more prone to understeer.

this is true. playing with offset is like the icing on the cake for suspension setup.

Very true but I don't think he was talking about a setup with such an extreme between the front and rear.
