Best bet would be to PM the vendors around here - they offer pretty good deals and support the community!!

I would also go with a forum vendor. They support our forum so we should support them.

I use to buy JDM Seido-YA pads from more-japan.com ... I use to track one of my car a lot back then. And those pads were holding really good. But lately they pulled them off the shelves. But like the others say, check vendors... I'll probably check other vendors here to see if they carry those pads.

I clicked the link and was like wtf, i don't see seido-ya on there. They're having a pretty cool give-away raffle right now though.

About the brake pads, honestly, the Duralast pads from autozone are a great deal. They're lifetime warranty and will replace them (even with normal wear and tear) once you turn them in, no questions. Just have to give them your info and keep the receipt. remember to bring the bads in before they're completely worn down and they'll give you new pads. Good for regular driving but if you track your car, swap them out before the event and put them back in after.

how many times have you brought in your 370Z duralast pads? how many times have they swaped them out for new pads? just curious becasue this sounds too good to be true.

ie. i buy the pads and eat them up in 10k miles. i take them to autozone and wha-la i get new pads? the duralast pads are only $70.... are they just that crummy? do they eat up the rotors? does nissan say the duralast pads are sufficient when it comes to other braking issues. say if i have a rotor failure can they blame the duralast pads?

No one really answered my question. My pms were ignored. I just want to buy regular pads. Should I just get em from the dealer?

It looks like you received several answers to your question. If not what you were anticipating, perhaps consider rephrasing what you are looking for? I'm not sure what to answer in regards to "regular" pads.

The dealer will sell you what is currently available for your car. They may be what came on it or they may be different, but they will be in a Nissan box. They also have a Nismo sport pad option. Several aftermarket suppliers offer pads that are better in various ways. Talking to a solid aftermarket company (like Stillen) will help you decide which option to choose.

I haven't bought them for the 370z yet but I did it with my 350z twice before getting rid of the car. i heard it from a friend with an evo so I went in and asked and they confirmed it. I think they're basically banking on you to lost the receipt or waiting too long to bring them in. they're good for driving aroudn teh city but I went on a canyon run once and they definitely weren't the best for that.

that's the 370z pad and if you click it it says limited lifetime warranty. Give your local store a call and ask them

Sorry I didn't mean to sound like a ****. I just wanted to buy brake pads that would fit my car for a reasonable price. I give the car back in a year and a half. (lease)

I found tire rack to be pretty cool. I have to buy new front tires too.
