I am :happydance: I can honestly say, this is how the car should have handled from the factory, I am so far thrilled. I do no racing, so this is a perfect street car setup. on a scale of 10, if hte car was a 5/10 before, its and 8 now, with 10s being good coils, I have a few more roads that need testings, but I will do that tomorrow after work, but initial impressions are fantastic. BTW, I shopped around and Joe at Zspeed (no affiliation!) Had the best price, I have bough a good bit of stuff from him, ships the same day and will hook you up.

You just had to give such an awesome review! Just placed my order!

I went 2 turns out from full stiff and front and 6 clicks on the back, I think I will turn one more down on the front and 2 click down on the back for regular driving, if I know I will be doing spirited drive I will stiffen them back up, I didn't not drive it on full stiff, but the way it responded at its current settings, I do not see a reason to. I am for sure going to get a ticket now, the car just asks to be driven faster now in the corners...

How do you adjust the konis in the rear?

Zoren 370 04-13-2013 11:55 PM

What type of Koni shocks did you buy?
Do you have a link? Thanks

onzedge 04-14-2013 07:20 AM

I went with Koni Sport (yellow) and I got them from Kami Speed.

Joepro 04-14-2013 06:47 PM

I checked Konis website, as I thought they only make the Sport shock for ours cars. Yes they are the yellows! I bought mine from Joe @ zspeedperformance, if you PM or call him he will give you the forum pricing, not what you pay on the website. He will sell you both, or just the shocks, I already had the springs.

You lift the back of the car and there is a small dial, I used a small screw driver and you turn it. It is a bit of a pita to lift the car, but you do not have to cut any holes in your interior panels.

Koni's are starting to look better and better....a little pricey though. Almost as much as a set of good used coilovers. If they're that good though, may be worth it. :)

If i get these then will I have to replace them after 30k miles or so? Cuz i know stock springs will last longer.

And where did you hear that from? I don't think anything you said is very accurate.
