Fuct - are you going to post some pics of yours? I'm looking to get some as well.

Nevermind as I just saw your profile pics. It looks pretty good. Are you liking them?

i will make a large first 2500 miles post explaining all the things in my album. im at 2010 now.

do i like them.... for $220 shipped YES!!! if it was an expensive coilover setup then NO.

since i used my nismo shocks i cant comment on what a touring feels like, but i have almost zero body roll now. the car is MUCH tighter. buuuut now the car rattles a bit more and i hear a few squeeks and such. (i have the car 60% dynamated too)

would i buy them to use on factory shocks till the shocks go YES! then switch to KW3's....

also about the drop. in the rear with factory nismo suspension i had a 2-1/2 finger gap. measuring the width of my 2-1/2 fingers thats about 2" or so. after 4 days i now have half a finger in the back. i could go as far as saying it is even right at the top of the tire! soooo if my math is correct and we just say now theres a 1/4" gap my rear dropped down 1-3/4"!!!! hmmmmm

Fuct, who'd you buy them through? I got quoted $225 before taxes and shipping through a local Tein dealer in Albuquerque, NM.

Dang!! that's cheap! I wish we have something like that here at ATL!

you can get em for $198 shipped on eBay thats where i got em

Johnny, but are they authentic? There was a thread about the fakes. Sometimes, I'd rather pay 30 bucks more to know that they're a reliable source with an authentic product.

im sure they are real. i just cant view ebay stuff here at work where i ordered them...... save some loot, buy from ebay.

toxik 08-09-2010 09:44 AM

According to their site, they are a tad stiffer:

NISMO S-TUNE:

F:79.0 N/mm (8.1 kgf/mm) (451 lbs/in)
R:89.0 N/mm (9.1 kgf/mm) (508 lbs/in)

TEIN DRESS MASTER S-TECH:

F:8.5 kgf/mm 480 lbs/in
R:9.4 kgf/mm 530 lbs/in

So the question is, how can these feel better and less harsh???

they can feel better by feeling more planted than the nismo springs. less harsh they DEF are NOT! they are MORE harsh. i now have a rattle in my hatch that only came up AFTER the springs went in.

its a compromise. im happy for the money i spent. im sure ill be rolling on coilovers in a year.

Got these installed yesterday and even while installing you can see how much softer these are than the stock springs. Drop is perfect, bumps feel nice and body roll is completely gone! love it!
