H&R Springs Anyone ?

So I guess the general consensus is that these H&Rs probably wont match up too well with the Nismo dampers ?

Im not worried about losing a little bit of comfort, but only if the performace is worth it, last thing i want to do is pair these springs up with something thats not gonna work right.

Quite likely it's not going to match up well as the nismo shocks are designed for the nismo springs which are different in length.

But it's fine in the short term until it wears down prematurely. That's why the koni shocks are recommended as they are designed for shorter springs with adjustments available for you to fine tune.

They will work fine w/ the Nismo Shocks. They are advertised to work the stock sport shocks. If anything happens it would just slightly shorten your stock shock life. Right now I don't think there is a aftermarket shock/strut option anyway except NISMO anyway. They have been fine w/ the stock shocks on my car so far.

I am pretty close to buying some H&R Springs, but I have a few concerns maybe you guys can help out on?

With no front camber arm, is it going to affect tire wear dramatically? Compared to stock height, does the new lowered height greatly limit the slope of the driveways you guys can go on?
Any scraping while driving in general, on highway/local streets? (Z is my only car, and I daily drive it)
And at last, is there any other things to be aware of?

My understanding is that toe is what causes most tire wear. The springs do really lower the front by 1.3 and I haven't had any problems scrapping but I drive slow and carefully. You will probably scrap If you have steep driveways or the driveway that is curved. My z is my daily car too but I avoid steep driveways.

The picture in your signature is while you had the BC coilovers. Did the H&R springs take you as low as what it looks like in that picture?

Yeah, the H&R brought it to about the same height, maybe 3 mm lower.

Hey guys,

I am more than likely going with the H&R's. I am just concerned with the front camber wear. I had upper control arms on my G and it was all good.

I am pretty sure anything over an inch you should have front control arms. Can anybody report back with what kind of tire wear they are having from the front with these springs and factory arms?

I see most of you guys are not running the front kit but I just want to see if it is worth the extra money to save the tires or just get new tires sooner than usual.
