R&R KW's need alingment?

I need to clean up and replace bump stops on the front KW's seems like a silly question but since the front has limited adjustment if all I do is remove them mark everything and reinstall do I need to get an alignment, still fairly new to everything Z. I also want to lower it about 1/2" its basically stock ride height.
