From what I have heard, SPL are not the best quality. Also if you plan on ever tracking your car I would stay away from them.

So got the life time alignment at Firestone a couple months ago. Took the Z there to have it aligned and they told me "we're going to refund your money, we're not equipped to work on your car. You will have to take it somewhere else"

What and the actual fuc*!!!!!

Yup...many places will not work on cars that either desire "out of spec" alignments, or have too much aftermarket stuff. Find a local SCCA group and check where the autocrossers go.

I just didn't want anyone potentially trying to "just lube everything" and hope the sound goes away.

Just breaks has a lifetime alignment program too. There are lots of them so that means they might have an in ground lift. That's who I have. The manager and lead tech took care of me no problem. Just buy them a soda to persuade them if you have too.

Buy SPL parts. There is a reason so many folks on this forum love them. I never questioned why, just bought them yesterday.

I am on a budget, coilovers have been sitting in a box since Sept-Aug last year. Save for the good stuff.
