Hey Jon, got a vid of these opening the hood? Curious about how forceful they are and all..

Im gonna try to get a video up this afternoon just been really busy at work. there not really forceful at all. they dont push much if at all. to me its just like stock but once u raise your hood they maintain that position. maybe i can get a video of mine at lunch.

Maybe this will help some of yall out! im not really sure how to get it to embed but if someone wants to walk me thru it or make it happen themselves feel free!

On the Z1 site it says the hood opens Within 2" of stock. Is that 2" more or less than a stock open hood?

when mines fully opened the hood rod doesnt reach it. im not sure if its exactly 2 inches but it is higher then stock.

Just ordered a set. Do you guys remove the stock rod or leave it?

I left mine.

I took mine out, you can just rotate it and it comes right off.

Quick question..

I ordered a kit similar to this one a couple months ago, the driver side hood will not line up with the fenders (3mm gap)

Will this one give me the same problem?
