New Product!! Zoom Engineering Carbon Rear View Mirrors ** In Stock & Ready to Ship!!

Well not exactly a New Product! But new to Kami Speed. We're now importing and stocking up on these awesome mirrors!! And at a much lower price!!

Zoom Engineering is a Japanese manufacturer who specializes in rear view mirrors for all cars. Their goal is to improve the driving experience by providing top notch side and rear view mirrors. They sell race and sports luxury rear view mirrors and replacement glass side view mirrors with convex 1400R blue mirrors to completely eliminate that pesky blind spot.

The rear view mirrors come with a 1400R blue mirror, which equates to reduced glare and increased visibility. The Shell, depending on the model, comes in either F.R.P or Carbon which are extremely light weight and sturdy.

At the moment we're only stocking up on the Carbon rear view mirrors, however certain models are available in F.R.P. with your choice of finish (those will be soon instock as well).

Below is what we have In Stock!!

martin82 03-31-2012 02:20 PM

With the heated mirror option do those stick on top of original glass? If so would they falloff due to heat?

Ilovejdm07 03-31-2012 02:46 PM

You can stick them on and they be fine or you can do what I'm going to do break the stock ones off and stick this in there place I did it on my friends g35 be4

370ZilverZ 03-31-2012 02:54 PM

Are those blue mirrors flat or convexed to give a wider angle view to help illiminate the left rear blind spot?

base64 04-01-2012 02:41 AM

They'll stick right on top. But they won't falloff due to heat.

They're convexed to give you a wider view, eliminating the blind spots.

Plus...

These mirrors are Great!! at night. Specially when the big trucks and SUVs pull up right behind you and blind you with there huge headlights. You'll greatly reduce this glare with these Zoom Engineering mirrors. Both the side ones and the rear one.

yes, its a convex blue tinted mirror that sticks on top of the oem mirrors. It seems like it would fall off, but we have a local customer with an MR-2 have a pair for about a year without any problems, it's withstood FL rain and summer so I'd say its pretty reliable.

sfearl1 04-11-2012 12:56 PM

Saku, do you have any pictures of the stick on's attached to the OEM mirrors? how thick is the stick on mirror? i'm curious if it looks like it's an "add-on", or if it sits flush and looks like a professional installation.

I have this picture, its the mirror on the MR-2, its perfectly cut so it sits in the bevel and looks almost oem

Monaco in carbon right? and what do you mean exchange for the regular CF one?

Reaper42 04-11-2012 06:08 PM

Idk I'm just worried that it won't fit in the car, if it's too big. Since I'll be the first one installing one of these in a 370z. And yes in carbon fiber

It's not as big as you think it is, the Monaco is about the same size as the TS model or about the same size as the oem model

what color FRP? And they sell a universal bracket or one for the 370Z, though we still have to see if the one for the Z34 works on the US model

The quality of these items are excellent, I tried my level best taking pictures of the side mirrors from the usual blind spots you'd find in the z, of course with the blue hue, it makes visibility easier especially in daylight, Also, the CF TS rear view mirror quality was top notch, in fact installation was easy, all you have to do is slide off the OEM mirror and install this with the bracket provided. Took me 5 minutes to figure out because the instructions were in Japanese.

All in all, excellent product, highly recommend to get for your Z!

looks great, glad that everything fit perfectly. I know some guys are slightly skeptical at first but once they see its a great quality product they'll feel better about it, so thank you for the review

also, if you don't mind could you send me the full size pictures to saku@kamispeed.com? I would like to put them up for the product on our site if you're ok with that.

I really like the side mirrors but will the heat from the heated mirrors underneath either make the 3M tape loosen or not transfer to the mirrors so they won't defrost?
Where I live this matters! :icon17:
