So interestingly enough, I've been using your red version for months without issue, but I just got the white version and they stay on dimly when the car is off. Any way to fix this or do I need a replacement set?

That's caused by a little current flowing while the car is off. It's just enough to light some leds. Replacements will do the same thing. If you drive it every day no worries. If it sits for 2+ weeks I'd keep a charger on the battery.

White seems to be a bit more sensitive which is why you never experienced it with red.

Is there anything I can do to stop it? Wire in some kind of resistor maybe?

I'm sure you could. I just don't know what kind of resistors to use for this.

It's not really common. We have heard of it a few times over the years.
