Like the rear a lot, not a big fan of the front.

MightyBobo 10-02-2011 09:24 PM

All I see in that front is, "Hi, I want functional brake ducts plz".

Which is a good thing of course.

I think it's how thin it gets between the side and center openings.

I was thinking the same thing, but this looks to be a modified image from the original Zele pictures so the final product might be different.

would you rather see smaller side vents or smaller center

Lemers 10-02-2011 09:57 PM

I think it's fine. If the vents were solid color they would look thicker.

birdmanx1 10-02-2011 10:01 PM

Excellent work, bravo!

Coming from the 3000GT community I the front looked strangely familiar.

Rear looks great.
Front is sorta...meh..:wtf2:
As others have mentioned, it looks a bit awkward where side vents meet the middle vent.. it gets too thin around the area.

MUST 10-03-2011 04:24 PM

i think if you flip the center vent it would release the tension (pinch) with the side vents as everyone above has mentioned, plus the lines would flow better

corbin09 10-03-2011 04:44 PM

Take an inch out of each side of the front center vent and it will look great. Any side profile pics of the front bumper to see how far that black lip sticks out? In for side skirt pics. I would pick one of these up asap!

This was my original comment when you told me about this. The center vent needs to be shrunk a bit just in the sides, or add more meat to the divisions... I see these being the weak points especially if this is subjected to track usage...

Other then that, I'm liking the rear bumper. Any ETA for an actual mock up instead of a rendering?

they would be meatier then the appear as there is the grey area as well.. but Ill revise the design alittle.

we will have a mock up soon!

windex 10-03-2011 06:16 PM

Damn that looks nice shame I couldn't get a rear shipped to me by oct 12th... NUDGE NUDGE!

MattP725 10-03-2011 06:56 PM

I agree with everyone else... rear is very nice, front doesn't flow with the car as well. I think the opennings might be too big but it is hard to tell.

just wait till you see the real deal! it flows.

Lemers 10-03-2011 07:21 PM

Look up pics of the Zele. It's the same without dividers in the front and rear smaller openings.

They just flipped the center opening upside down, which is what I think the root of the problem with there being not enough material between the vents.
