Looks pretty damn good!

How close of a match can you get to the persimmon interior? I'm looking to have the door inserts replaced in the spring...

Nismo221 11-15-2010 11:07 PM

I'd looking to buying the dash pod covers if they are made of the same material as the stock center console on the Nismo. "I guess you would call it the center glove box."

ThoriumHotdog 11-15-2010 11:08 PM

Niiice. Any way we can a list of materials and stitching colors/options to choose from?

I will have to see what Joe has in his swatch book to see how close we can get. If you send us your old ones we can recover them

Are you referring to this:
http://image.motortrend.com/f/173758...er_console.jpg

I can look into it but I doubt it. Its a fake leather vinyl. We can however, do the center stacks, center dash, knee pads and transmission tunnel all to match.

Yeah but if I was going to have to change it all I'd get all that and the fabric door insert in that carbon fiber vinyl.

bullitt5897 11-17-2010 08:09 AM

yessir close to alabama too!

crash1369 11-17-2010 11:25 PM

How about the sun visors? Nissan did a pretty nice job with the interior I think, but for some reason they decided to cove the visors in plastic :shakes head: plus that stupid warning label.

Could they be covered in the same material as the center console storage thingy (where the OEM Nav would be if I had it) or maybe the wine color seat leather perhaps? Better yet the black center console leather with a wine 370 style "Z" in the center perhaps?

bullitt5897 11-17-2010 11:58 PM

You dream it up and we can get it done! just PM me what you want exactly and I will get you pricing.

That is what I want, I think :) Unless anybody has a better suggestion, or is there some reason they made them out of cheap *** plastic?

I would do a search for nissan OEM parts distributers they usually have the best prices at around $660 or so.

NewYorkJon34 01-07-2011 02:29 PM

You don't have any extra headlights do you? The problem is I want 180 customs to do my headlights & they quoted me a great price but my car is a daily driver and between 2 jobs & school I can't afford to leave my car for a week or two. But if someone can ship their headlights to 180 customs then I could do a core swap when I put my painted lights in. Can anyone help me with this?

bullitt5897 01-18-2011 08:15 AM

Bullitt, PM me prices to replace the suede door inserts with colormatched persimmon leather. After 40K miles, my doors are starting to look worn out!

We are actually exploring that option right now Daisukes will be receiving a color swatch of leather to see if it matches in the next few days. If it does then we will be wrapping his and a few others harness bars in the persimmon leather. We have to buy the material by the hide so as soon as we know that the color matches I will PM you the price  everyone will be sharing the material to cut down your costs ;).

Mike

p.s. I am working with a member to do his entire Nismo in Leather with logos! :excited:

texasviking 01-20-2011 10:44 PM

Ok, sounds good.

Curious, do you have spare door panels to wrap, so that I can put the new one on, and then ship you my old core? Or will you need me to ship you mine to be wrapped?

bullitt5897 01-21-2011 07:54 AM

At this point I will need for your old unit to be shipped to be wrapped. If my car was here in GA I would just use mine as the core for you. If you can find a set of panels for cheap order them and I can give you a break on the pricing.

Mike

I like it! As someone mentioned already, how much and how long will it take to have the door panel suede changed out to the same leather (gray and maybe a little black) but also incorporate some black (stitching, Z logo, etc..) to match the bulk of the black interior\exterior?
Also, how did you get the triple cluster gauge covers off of the gauges?

My apologies for the late reply.

The door Centers will be $300 for the pair. Logos and embriodery are on a case by case basis and start from $50 a logo.

In regards to the Gauge clusters covers we simply pried/pulled them off and re attached them with 3M double sided tape.

bullitt5897 02-18-2011 04:09 PM

Lets get some custom interiors guys and gals!!!

Joebarchuck 06-06-2011 03:38 PM

Once you get time, please PM me so we can discuss more.

marcussoori 06-30-2011 09:38 PM

Thanks
