I have the FI kit from CS my FI is not installed yet. however I would like to get this kit installed and just run it off the OBD2.
I wanted to ask you, there are two positive red wires and two black negetive wires on the black of the LCD. Did you just connect the two reds power wires together and the two grounds together or each of the 4 hook up independently ? I plan on just connecting all my power 12V constant power to my headunit aftermarket DVD/Navi(I believe it's the yellow wire) Also, this is kind of a difficult question, what did you use for you headlight "in" to dim the screen, the switch or just the headlight wire? what color is this wire? the instructions dont mention two positive wires and two negetive wires for he LCD display |

2 red and 2 black connect together. Don't need to connect them independently. The headlight in can connect to the lighting switch or the lighting of the interior of the car. As long as it's 12v. The wire is a single blue one from the back of the LCD. I believe all the above is explained in the instructions. If still any issue please email us www.carbonsignalauto.com |
So it would be ok connect the two reds wires into one wire with a butt connector, same with the ground? also, can I connect the LCD power wire(s) and control module power wire all into my radio ACC 12v yellow wire harness which has constant power? I thought the "in" had to be from a headlight switch wire or headlight wire so it would dim when I turned on the headlights, interior lights can be used instead???

Wires you should be ok. Constant power not sure. For dimmer headlights or interior console both are as its to give a signal when to dim and when not
