Just to update everyone about the meet on the 30th.

Date - 30th August
Time - 11:30am onwards
Location - Mt Dandenong Sky High
Parking - The front fills up quickly, so we will have to park at the rear lower carpark. Just look for Z's. :)
Lunch 1pm - I have reserved a table for ten people inside the cafe for lunch, coffee, etc. There is a BBQ onsite, so you are more than welcome to use that instead if you prefer.

You must be SOOOO excited! You are going to be in dreamland :) I remember the rush when I got mine. Believe it or not, I purchased my new 350Z Roadster only in Feb and when I first test drove the 370Z I couldn't help but buy it!

haha yeah I was wondering why you had a roadster and a 370z... Well I was still 50/50 on selling my 350 and getting a 370 but after the test drive I sold mine within 2 weeks...

Damn evse82, you must be dying by now. With all these other cars out there, although it isn't much longer now for you mate. You are going to love it once it's run in a bit and can have real good go...

Argh!! When it rains it pours!! There's a black 370z parked in front of me and it ain't mine.. I haven't seen F All Z34s for months and in a few days seen 3! And in my neighbourhood too :( Owner is of the older generation though :) LOL.

I will be there as long as car arrives hehe and yes its white ^^. Majestik just wondering if they were older gen. How old are you? I'm 25, other guys?

Nice, well really looking forward to meeting all of you and going on a cruise!!! I have had a few motorbikes but always had a slow car. Going from a standard lancer to this, the lancer was great but never a sport car hehe. Ordered my custom plates this week, hopefully them and the car arrive next week, fingers crossed or the week after.

I will try my best to be there if I could reach there by train, tram etc( don't have a car here in Australia as of yet :( ) to see some of the 370z's in the flesh and meet you guys

So what's the preference for location? Do we want to just meet near the water somewhere for good pics or go for a cruise? Are we having a BBQ?

Here's a few ideas.

St Kilda - nice but really busy
Mt Dandenong sky high lookout - Good for a cruise and a easy location to meet and talk
Albert park lake - Good spot
Nando's carpark somewhere - Peri peri chicken is goooood :)

haha you're obsessed with nandos huh? I'm really up for anything, Albert park might be good, are you thinking of that big car park? I can't remember where it was but I met there once on another cruise. Mt Dandenong is always good as well, doesn't get too busy up there either. St Kilda gets a bit busy on Sundays... and we can always stop off at a nandos to get ur fix.

sky high look out would be pretty cool and bit of tiny drive so will be a mini cruise.........will be great fun with so many Z's hehe. Nice to take a overview shot of all of them lined up too..........plates arrived today!, now just need my car lol

lol, well I haven't looked around before but there must be bbq's up at the dandenongs right? Anyone know of any parks up there with good car parks and bbq's?

I'm for Dandy Mountains/sky high cruise. With a BBQ of course :) Whats the eta on ur car evse? Btw Black will make u rip ur hair out! I just got it cut and polished :( Aarrgghh!!

Yeah I know, but i'm used to it now from the 350 :) should be all good. Well apparently it docks tomorrow so I was told that within 10 days after it docks I should have it!! hopefully it's soon....

I reckon ours are on the same boat.

Mine is supposed to arrive at the dealer over in Adelaide on the 25th and I should get it by end of August.

Look forward to seeing pics of all the cars after this cruise.

Yeah they must be on the same boat, but if so it should get to your dealer sooner man, getting it trucked over to Adelaide should only take a day or so depending on stops etc...

might be (another) yellow one on the cruise :)

just spoke to dealer and the docket or whatever has been printed so he thinks it will arrive to them Monday or Tues so hope can pick mine up next weekend! ^^

I think Mt Dandenong sky high will be the easist place to meet as there will be less traffic and it's a great spot for photo's and a drive. Not sure about a bbq though?

Can everyone post their staus and names like Majestic started in the other thread so we can get this happening?

Its almost exclusively in manual mode, however, I find it goes 'clunk' going into 1st gear if you let it automatically downshift for you when you slow down and if you 'manually' downshift as you slow down, its a pain timing the downshift so it doesn't jerk around as you come to a stop...

Other than that, I've been keeping a very very low profile, since umm, I'm still on my P's ehehe... and Vicroads' exemption letter is due to arrive sometime next week. So haven't really had much of a chance to really 'experience' the cars potential:(

I got mixed up cause Nissan didn't include an on screen calendar. Pffft! Much more important than a compass!
30th is fine for me. Is there a definate ETA from those waiting?
Also I'm not fussed about location. I don't think the traffic would be that bad on a Sunday...

Should get mine 22nd i think.

Hmmm, I think I might get mine this week, latest was the 25th (that is if all goes well...)

I reckon that if we see anyone with the missing colours we stop them (even in the middle of the road) and tell em to jump on the forum!
