For my Z, 1. when reverse is activated, the rear sensors and camera come on. 2. for the front sensors, there is a button you press to turn it on. when you press the button there is a long beep to say they are on. this system is similar to the BMW 1 series way of working. you dont want the front sensors on all the time as they may give off false alarms or set off due to traffic islands. I also own a BF Mk2 FPV GT with front sensors. They are activated when the brakes come on which is a crap way. When I was driving in the country a B-Double cattle trailer on the opposite side of the road came past me me with some spray. I happened to brake and the sensors went nuts! |
