Firstly i would like to say thanks to AK370Z for setting this up for us in Australia (i only asked him an hour ago:tiphat:).

As the main one in the "NEW 370Z Owner Section" isn't as revelant for us, for obvious reasons LOL.

I have also asked him for a slightly freerer/open discussion for this thread as it wont be as big as the one above. Smaller population and all LOL.

Model: 370Z
Color: Chicane Yellow
Transmission: 6MT
Options: Z Mats, Reverse Camera*1 and iPod Connector*2
Price: $74,293*3
Dealer: Highway Nissan - Slacks Creek

I personally cant speak highly enough for the service that i got. The salesperson i spoke to was Rob Whyte (has a drift 350Z). Very professional and wasnt pushy in any way at all. I also had my finance done through them, which is via the Volkwswagon Group.

Will add the * in a little bit.

I bought mine on June 30 as a DEMO model..... (Im only 20, couldnt afford it new) :ughdance: But i believe i got a reeaaal good deal...

Model: 370Z
Color: Monterrey Blue
Transmission: 7spd Auto
Options: Z Mats (Want to get Reverse Camera and DVD Player!)
Price: $66,000 (Demo model with 1,500km on clock)
Dealer: Nissan Moorooka

I was tossing up at the time between a VW Golf R32 or an Audi S3 but the dealers were being w4nkers....
Saw the 370Z as i was driving home, didnt think I could afford it but heard about the demo model and bought it that day...
The dealer was awesome too. more than happy to help.
So far so good :)

GTRFAN 08-06-2009 05:04 PM

VIC seems to be cheaper than QLD for some reason.

Model: 370Z
Color: Titanium
Transmission: Manual
Options: Z Floor mats
Price: $65,390 drive away
Dealer: Blackburn

I can get similar deals for anyone who's interested. VIC only.

Darren

Congrats on the purchase gromano. Especially at only 20yrs, i bet a lot of your friends will be jealous mate:tup:. It really is a great car and the price you got seems up there with the better prices, Demo or not.

I got the Reverse Camera and iPod connector done via a Dealer connection (which has turned out much cheaper, than aftermarket). Hope you enjoy the car cahmp (post some pics if you havnt already).

Hi Darren. I noticed that myself when i was looking at cars also. Not just the 370Z, but the BMW Z4M i was getting offered much better deals by some $4-6k. Anyone in VIC looking at getting the 370Z, i'd say chuck Darren a PM as that is a great price (i do need to update my first post, whoops).

Model: 370Z
Color: RED
Transmission: Manual
Options: Z Floor mats, Full tank of fuel
Price: $65,390 drive away
Dealer: Hopper Crossing Nissan

I have been contemplating either getting red or yellow..., finally made my decision... RED it is..., went to 3 dealers..., one in Glenwaverly and Essendon..., the salesman from these two dealers are d**khe*d... they just plain rude..., I just walked away not even try to negotiate...! Went to Hopper Crossings nissan this afternoon..., got a warm welcome and then I asked if it's possible to drive the car..., but the salesman politely said probably best make an appointment etc. I told him I am ready to do a deal. He straight away ask his manager... not long after that they let me test drive the car. Cut the story sort, I mentioned someone (GTRFAN) bought it for $65,390 at other dealer etc... after a short chit chat... done deal..., and he said they got the car that I want in stock will be ready to be picked up this Wed. WOW I couldnt be happier. :happydance:

GTRFAN 08-16-2009 01:13 AM

Good work mate thats as good as it gets. Don't forget to ask them for Z mats! :)

Man after reading some of you got $65,390 im feeling a little cheated :(, ah well still happy im getting a Z. Werribee Nissan the sales guy was ok but i have to say the big boss there was a real jerk. No customer service, really rude.

Yeah, I'd have to agree, the GM at Waverly Nissan is an absolutely a**hat. Though a few others, *cough* Dandenong *cough* are close behind (the GM actually told me to 'F*CK OFF until you come back with a better offer' when I gave a ridiculous offer because they wouldn't budge from RRP).

Color: Titanium
Transmission: Manual
Options: Full tank of fuel, tinting, rear parking sensors ... just of the boat ... brand spanking new!
Price: $68,500 drive away
Dealer: Keema MtGravatt Nissan (Qld)

The pick up is next week ... have been waiting a few months now... just a tad exciting!

Regarding the price ... it's a fair chunk of change ... always shop around! I had one dealership that wouldn't drop their on-road price from $76,500 to $76,000 ... the sales women wouldn't even talk to the manager ... so I walked out ... she turned pale ... went to Keema Nissan & paid $68,500 ... Well done to those who got cheaper prices ... well negoiated guys!

Yeah - gotta be a bit careful here since you had a trade-in. They could have said - for example: 20K + 350Z = 60K, but that's not the real price you paid you know.

Marco 09-29-2009 02:14 AM

i get what you are saying, i had my car paid out...as in they give me a cheq and pay the finance company, with nothing left to pay by me.

then i agreed to $65K for the car itself.

yuyu370z 10-13-2009 07:27 PM

wow..... what a great site..

I just bought my 370Z from Werribee Nissan. Great Dealer IMO. I bought my 350z from them as well so went back for the 370z and got a good deal too. The other dealers good to deal with are ferntree Gully and Blackburn. The rest are rude and snobbish. I live in caulfield and the brighton nissan dont even look at me when i ask abt the car, consider i used to service my 350z there. I deal with Adam at Werribee, he is a nice guy.

anyway here is my spec

Model: 370Z
Color: Titanium
Transmission: semi-auto
Options: Full tank of fuel, tinting, rear parking sensors, floor and cargo mats
Price: $67,700 drive away
Dealer: Werribee Nissan

picking it up this fri or sat.

I so excited. Cant wait.

That's a great price for the semi-auto one - aren't they like 3-4K more expensive than the manual cars?

yuyu370z 10-15-2009 05:47 AM

I think it 7AT is abt 2-3k more than 6M.

i guess they gave me the deal coz i bought my 350z from them and may be it is also almost the end of the year so they meet their target.

Werribee Nissan is not an authorized GTR dealer for no reason.

I saw a GTR displayed there as well.. it is a big car :)

I assume you bought a demo from Village Nissan! I recall they were sharing demo Z's between Redcliffe and Petrie branches.

How many km's on the clock?

BluZ 10-18-2009 02:11 AM

Yes, it was floor stock. They have (had) a manual and auto on the floor. The one I bought had 113 Km on the clock so it hasn't been demo'ed much.

Wow! they told you to F off? A class act would have handled it differently.

evse82 10-26-2009 08:55 PM

When I was buying my 350z, Dandenong wouldn't let me test drive the car until I "put money on the table" even though I told them I drove 30min to see it, they basically told me to buy the car then test drive or leave..... So when I bought my 370z I didn't even bother calling them... never will again either... lol

Im sure Google wont mind you asking what the exchange rate is. :)

About $60,000 USD so we get bent over and done dry here in Oz with imported cars.

I went there once as i was driving by and noticed all their 370's were swirled up . I mentioned this to the dealer who seemed very uninterested. Went back to work and shot off an email to the dealer principal and never got a response. I wonder what they'd be like to deal with then.

I guess most places are the same, there are good people and bad ones.
All I can say is Dean is a good guy and very helpful, go back through the posts for his details. Everyone I dealt with was great and I have had no problems so far.

New just had done 40odd km's with two trips to their other dealership

basically I had to do nothing, they put in ad for 59k at carsales yesterday and I reached there today and bought it lol

i think they are struggling to sell these at Lilydale as black 6MT is also there for like 63k driveaway

and yeah cruises now here I come :D

btw going to Marysville/Reefton straight from dealership on Wednesday LOL

Gee 11-15-2009 12:57 AM

I'm just hypothesizing (try saying that on a Sunday arvo after a swim, BBQ, and a few beers with friends looking over your shoulders as you type...) but I think Melbourne is the port of call for imported cars and they mostly all land there. To ship everywhere else in oz I am thinking road freight is the most likely and thats gotta cost a motza per vehicle. would be interesting to know how much goes by rail/road or if I'm just talking crap , as usual. ;-)

Gee

Gee 11-15-2009 01:11 AM

Don't forget we are not the only ones "to get raped" over car prices. The UK pay roughly what we pay in Oz (after exchange rate conversion).

It has a lot to do with the USA market having 15 times the sales of Australia (on a per capita basis) and the perception, rightly or wrongly, that you have to crack the USA market to be credible.

Nisssan expect to sell 60 - 70 370Z per month here in Oz, and my feedback is that they'll do much better than that as the word gets out amongst the cogniscenti that the Z is a awesome amount of car for the $ and perhaps the sportscar bargain of the 2010's - hell I know already a few WRXer's trading up.

Well I thought my Z would port in Melbourne because I thought that would be most practical but according to my dealer it came in to Sydney dock and then loaded on a truck to come all the way here (Vic). It was quick actually - the night it came in it was loaded onto the truck and my dealer had it that morning.
