I got mine from Reg at Dandenong Nissan, but I didn't particularly think he was that helpful, he really just wanted to sell me a car and didn't even know what price they were advertising it at.
The reason I went to Dandenong Nissan in the first place was because they are advertising autos at manual prices 75990 drive away on carsales.com and I had to point that out to them!

I appreciate that mate :P

When's your delivery date?

Mr370z 03-18-2010 07:27 AM

any new prices people getting for the roadster? im just waiting to sell my Integra Type R to buy one!!!

boardingnath 03-21-2010 07:35 AM

I am after the same for the coupe. Looking to order in the next couple of weeks so would like to know any prices/quotes people are getting

TJZ 03-21-2010 07:59 AM

wow, wish I had read this thread before buying my 370, feeling like I got jipped. Can't win them all....

Bought new, (9km's on the clock, floor stock), 2009 model and I traded in my Mazda 6 Luxury Sports.... probably had quite a bit more room to move in hindsight....

Model: 370z Coupe 2009
Color: Brilliant Silver
Transmission: 7AT
Options: Mats
Price: $70,470 drive away
Dealer: Rockingham Nissan, WA

My bro then went to the same dealer 2 weeks later to query price and the same guy came up with $73,000 drive away for a brand new 2010 to order, with NO trade in.......

At the time I thought I did alright because it was about 5k less than anything on carsales in WA.

EVL370 03-21-2010 06:21 PM

How much for a 2009!

TJZ 03-21-2010 07:18 PM

yeah I know.... my only defence is I'm on the other side of the country? the cheapest 7AT new/near new on carsales here now is 75k... 2010's are 83k-88k new (on the tag)....

eastern states seems to be a good 5k less across the board?

EVL370 03-21-2010 07:34 PM

Bugga me! In Vic we have 09 manuals going for high 50s and autos low 60's drive away and thats dealerships.

Surely a transporter truck to bring it to WA wouldnt be to much...

GTRFAN 03-21-2010 08:53 PM

You can get VIC to WA transport for about $400

Majestik 03-21-2010 10:06 PM

You're gonna kill me but even a brand new roadster Auto with bits was quoted to me $73,798 on road...

On 2nd thoughts your high price might be due to the trade in.

I mean, you can't get a fantastic trade in price AND a good purchase discount right?

They kinda cancel each other out...

Mr370z 03-22-2010 12:10 AM

majestic.. thats awesome price!.. who quoted you that?? what exactly was included... im hopefully buying one in the coming weeks!! then its cruise time with you boys! :)

WA are more expensive because it has a higher tax on vehicles. Every time I go to a dealer they always ask if I live around here. I never ask them why but I assume there might be some sort of restriction, meaning they can't sell it to you if you don't live in the area. So when I sign my contract I had to prove I live in the area. Might ask my dealer.

I know about 5 years ago or more, people from WA were buying cars from Eastern States and trucking them over and then I read they are stopping that from happening because the dealership was complaining about losing money. Not sure if it went through but I really think it did. Did anyone bought a car from EST and truck it to WA recently?

Trucking your vehicle from NSW to WA is about $1000 3 years ago this is on my small car. They are not responsible from rocks hitting the car so you will have to insure it for the journey. You can transport it on a container, but the price are obviously more expensive.

TJZ 03-22-2010 10:03 PM

well that could explain some of the difference I suppose.

friend of mine bought a mini from over east and transported it back because it was about 8-9k cheaper than he could find anywhere here. problem was that it had paint damage and a couple dings from transit straps, they stupidly accepted the vehicle without closer inspection.

i'd be interested to know what other west aussies have paid, even if only to help out my brother with a bit more leverage before he gets one next month.

Majestik 03-25-2010 01:54 AM

*Warning - I cannot guarantee that anyone else can get these prices as this is my 2nd vehicle thru a good friend and I paid straight cash. I am not putting the dealer details down but am happy to refer any Melbournians via PM.

Below are the quotes for the 3 scenarios Series 2 2010 quartz 370Z's I was considering. All include tint, rev sensors, mats and mud guards. Prices are On Road.

Coupe Manual - $64,000.
Coupe Auto - $67,000.
Roadster Auto - $73,798.

I hope this info helps...

Oh btw, I bought a quartz Manual today! April delivery :)
