I ahve been racing cars for > 40 years, and an extinguisher you cannot put your hand on, when you are locked intom your seat belts, the car is potentially upside down, and on fire, is a WOFTAM. Mounting it on the tunnel (alongside the console) interferes with my left leg. Mounting on the otherside (passenger side) means I can't reach it .... Simple really ....
