Nah forget the R35 it's too expensive and high maintenance. A mate of mine just spent 10k on a service! I'm going back to old school R32 GTR after this as I can build an 800hp monster for next to nothing. Will also get a daily driver and keep power and daily totally separate.

Unless Jan 2010 build still considered 2009 model...., because I read it some where in this forum, someone said March 2010 build will be the 2010 model :icon14:  is this true?

man your mate is going to be mega peeved...

he was literally 2-3 weeks away from 19" wheels...

Anyone got confirmation that the real 2010 coupe will also come in 40th Quartz and Cherry black?

Majestik 03-17-2010 02:12 AM

I've finally found info from a reputable source.

Nissan Australia Confirms New Models And Updates For 2010 | The Motor Report: Auto News And Reviews

evse82 03-17-2010 03:21 AM

Thats not solid, thats just an article from February 25th. Solid is when it's on Nissans stupid emotionally shattering bewildering website.

evse82 03-17-2010 03:22 AM

Yes, I know you never said solid, but I used it for dramatic effect.

It's ok.

I know when you think of me, you always think of me solid...

Mr Ed 03-17-2010 07:37 AM

As an owner of the 2009 370Z, I am bitter as hell that we got the sh*t 18"s....

Even though we bought 19"s - we had to pay $6k for them and that sucks...

Mr Ed 03-17-2010 07:50 AM

Some fella in the US has the base roadster

Nissan 370Z Forum - jleblanc's Album: 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster - Picture

It's got 18" rims?

How bloody strange. I thought they were pre-launch wheels as seen on Jap pre launch ads.

I quite like them. Very G37 like..

Did you get a good price? Do tell...

Majestik 03-17-2010 11:22 PM

Ok 100% confirmed and sighted. I've read the last 2 Nissan bulletins and between them it states:
- All 370Zs manufactured March will have 19"s standard.
- New Coupe Colors will be Quartz and Bordeoux.
- Late April 1st deliveries.

Woohoo!!! :)

EVL370 03-17-2010 11:32 PM

Thats what I was told as well!

Unless you want a colour only available in the first year.

So all that's changed is the wheels and new colours? I thought they would have added USB functionality. I just wish they gave us *options* more than anything.

370er 03-18-2010 05:58 AM

"The Nissan Satellite Navigation system with 7-inch display features steering wheel controls as offered in the 370Z Coupe. The dashboard-mounted unit features touch screen functionality, DVD and iPod USB connectivity."

That's pretty cool then.

Your neck will be fine in 2 days, pop a few voltaren rapid 25 tablets, a few neck stretches and by Sat morning you'll be right to come!

i let them talk me into.

was never a big fan of the shape absolutely hated the 350 but like this one and its just brilliant to drive, just tapping resume on cruise control feels potent. I like the way it wrapps around you and even with 19s not much road noise.
all in all very happy camper
:ughdance:

Mr Ed 03-19-2010 05:24 PM

Nissan Australia are W*ANKERS.... re 19" rims.

Oh well, the Z is my girl's car. I dont drive my Z much anyway and she cant drive manual yet. Only driven 4k since July 2009.... She better get her license soon!

Maybe I'm missing something, but I just picked up the 2010 Roadster (Aus spec), and have no idea where the iPod connectivity is. Someone help me out, but it's not where the standard RCA connectors are. =(

370er 03-20-2010 07:34 PM

An aussie seller has a set of 18s up on ebay for $500 with under 2 hours to go!

Termac 03-21-2010 12:31 AM

Went for $699 plus freight!! What a buy for someone.

Gazza 03-21-2010 01:07 AM

Congrats mate! You're gonna love it :)

You should put the details of your purchase in the 'How Much.." thread.

It really helps new (and even old) buyers of the Z.

Mr370z 03-21-2010 07:19 AM

chiliwili 03-21-2010 06:11 PM

Thanks Rob46. I'm guessing the bose stereo is the same and it's probably something they didn't bother connecting up or something. I'm hoping that's the case anyway...

evse82 03-21-2010 06:16 PM

Hmmm, well it's on their press release, so like the coupe, the April models might have the USB connection along with the updated Nav unit that everyone else is getting around the world.
