Sat Nav update questions...

So anyone know when the update is going to happen? if so what is the price we will have to fork out? haha..

will speed cameras, red light cameras be included also will it be updated with locations and etc?

Its odd the Sat Nav sends me on a lap around my home in order to get into the driveway! it actually makes me drive past my home hahah..

You can get it for free at the dealer as soon as new 2010 models get shipped with it. My dealer said they do it as part of the service and he'll let me know when it's in. If a new buyer gets it with a 2010, they should rip an ISO of the disk....for off-site backup purposes of course. ;)

:iagree:

Exactly, for backup purposes. lol

3700cc - Yes, the sat nav uses a DVD (not CD) and is located behind the driver seat.

what? the dvd is behind the driver's seat? or the player is behind the drivers seat? or for your car the dealer left the sat nav dvd behind the drivers seat for you?

I got an empty case in the glove box like 3700cc

Nah behind the drivers seat, there is that little shelf, if you pull the cover off the back wall under the strut bar (where the shelf is) the GPS DVD player is lurking there. Thats where the DVD is sitting in.

(yes I know I just confused a lot of people.... wall?)

Dude, how hard do you want to make it :rofl2:

Am I the only one who thinks it's a weird setup?

They should have had an SD card slot and used it that way, would be faster loading and take up a lot less space and you wouldn't hear a disk spinning behind your seat.

Nah my stupid directions made it sound sarcastic. The GPS DVD drive is behind the drivers seat where the shelf is. If you pull off the cover (there is a little hole you can put a flathead screw driver into) you will find the drive there. Thats where the DVD goes for the GPS mapping. It isn't a DVD movie player or anything though.

YES, much better :rofl2:
