Nah my stupid directions made it sound sarcastic. The GPS DVD drive is behind the drivers seat where the shelf is. If you pull off the cover (there is a little hole you can put a flathead screw driver into) you will find the drive there. Thats where the DVD goes for the GPS mapping. It isn't a DVD movie player or anything though.

Evan being sarcastic?

Don't be ridiculous!!

If you go thru his past posts, you see that he would never be sarcastic to anyone else on the forum..............

Thanks Ronnie, you are one of the most amazing and inspirational people I have ever met, you just radiate utter beauty!! You are also a superb driver, I mean, I could never imagine someone of your calibre ever writing off a $70k car......... Keep up the good work, keep on trucking.

Nah it's not too hard to change the dvd in there, It's a pretty quick job actually.

lol yeah first thing I looked for was the DVD logo on the dash when I saw my first 370..... there it was not..... lol

I agree!

I burnt the maddest mp3 dvd for my first road trip and it didn't work :(

evse82 03-17-2010 03:24 AM

Yeah thats what ***** me the most man..... I just want mp3 DVD's not stupid cd's.. This is one reason I miss my 350, because I had a DVD player and screen in there. It was perfect.

So I guess the important question is, who's buying the first update? :hello:

Thread dig I know, but just in case there are any noobs (like me) around... my MY2012 AT has a DVD drive as part of the stereo (even plays movie disks), and according to the User Manual, this is where the Nav update discs are put when/if.
