The 18's look ok but are just too small on our cars. A 50 profile on a 225/18 is massive! I think it's because the overall rolling diameter of the wheels/tyres are bigger than say a Commodore, so 18" look like 17" on the Z. Do you know what I mean?
The point about not getting the 19" is not about missing out on the latest bonnet bulge or 2nd gen upgrade, it's about being lied too about it in the first place. I'll be happy with 19" running a 285/35/19 and won't upgrade.
