series 2 370z coupe in Australia

Hi Gents,

I have just taken a series 2 370Z coupe for a test drive and I can report that
the only changes I can see are the 19" Rays wheels & tyres to match the new Roadster. The ipod interface is still the 3 RCA inputs & no USB.. Rather disappointing....

This is the official notification from the Nissan Dealership
1. Addition of the lightweight 19” forged aluminium “alloy” wheels as standard fitment
Fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40R19 front and massive 275/35R19 rear tyres.
2. Addition of 2 new colours to the 370Z Coupe palette - Bordeaux and 40th Anniversary Quartz
(replacing Titanium and Chicane Yellow).
3. Addition of the Z logo to the i-Key fob.

Gazza....

The Rays Wheels looked Brilliant though!! Amazing how much better they were up close and real - not in a photo...

Good stuff for 2010 purchasers of Z's, but stiff **** for the poor bastards who bought 2009 models....

You suck Nissan Australia!

Don't feel too bad ED... basically what happened is from 1 Jan the import tarrifs dropped. Instead of passing on the savings Nissan put the bigger wheels one.

Any other car out there, if you purchased a bit later then you would have saved 2-3k (depending on the car price) from 09 to 10. All the 09 buyers were a bit out of luck... =/ that is unless you purchased a 4WD, they were on the lower tarrif rate from the start.
